NYC food mart — Restaurant in Indianapolis

This was my first order for chicken. Seeing the two piece picture. Of the thighs for the meal. It was my fault I thought. The forty piece would be the same. It wasn't all forty pieces. Were child size the legs and thighs. Barely had meat on them at all. If I'd seen that before paying. I wouldn't have paid for it. It didn't taste fresh either. Wasn't seasoned at all either. The order was placed today. Those small pieces they served. Is nothing like the picture at all. But that's my fault for thinking. The picture reflected what they sold. When it came to the larger orders. It looks nothing like that. Way less meat and was darker looking. I was embrassed when I saw. What I paid for from them. They definetly got over today. I will never place another order from here. Ppl need to beware. Don't even think of ordering the larger pans deals. From here while the price wasn't bad. It isn't for adults at all. Only for kids always check the order. Before paying for it from here. I didn't pick it up myself. Because I was at my sisters funeral service. There is only one star. To wrote to review to warn others. Even that wasn't deserved today. For what I got because of the day. I wasn't thinking properly. Or they'd be a picture included. With this review if you order. The larger pan you'll be more then disappointed truly. Embrassed you were the one buying it. Stop serving that to ppl. Raise the price for regular size pieces. Don't serve adults child size pieces. All forty not one was a regular size. You'll lose money if ppl check. Like we should have done today. Before paying for that misleading deal. How the reviews are what they are. I don't know I've had the fish only. That was ok never the chicken. Yall should be ashamed of yourself. For serving us that pan of meat. Truly but it'll never happen again ever. This review is to warn ppl. Order at your own risk. Once you check that order. You won't pay for it I guarantee you. The picture of dark meat. Is not what you get. In the large pans at all. Beyond disappointed truly upset. This is what I bought. For my sister repass meal. For the family thinking they were legit. Now I see why everytime. I deal with them someone. Is upset with them. For messing up their order. Everytime I've went here...

Okay so I tried to place an order well I did place an order through Uber eats and a few minutes later got a notification they were out of some items to hurry up and substitute so I did that and then a few minutes later I received a notification saying my order was canceled not sure what happened there so today two days later since I was still craving chicken over rice and they’re one of the places who sell this item I placed another order ordered three orders of chicken over rice that was all that was in my order three orders mind you each order is $12.99 so when the Uber driver gets here to deliver it she tells me she waited there forever and ever noticed they only had two orders and that the receipt or her order note showed three orders she said she expressed to them that it was supposed to be three orders they rudely told her it was only two orders on there so the food is decent enough if you would like to go pick it up yourself but I would not advise anybody to order for delivery service...

I’m from New York. East Harlem to be precise. This ain’t it. These people are either from Staten/Long island or from New Jersey - if east coast at all. Definitely not it. Definitely not NEW YORK, NEW YORK cause my boys out there definitely don’t operate this way. Especially them prices; they scream Long Island/New Jersey. My Bacon, egg, and cheese sandwiches on a HERO back home never cost more than $4.00.

Also, if school is out the day you’re considering this place, keep an eye on their kitchen; they let their kids ‘help’ out - which is cool and all by me if they were sanitary; but them kids sliding their gloved hands along the walls and counters and going BACK to the grill to help cook with the same gloves is a big no-no. Ya only get two stars cause ya got the atmosphere inside right, which reminded me of home. Would have been three if there was a cat...
