RANCHERA MEXICAN BAR & GRILL — Restaurant in Indianapolis

A friend and I went to try this place and it was very good! I loved it. I decided to get a to go order one evening and specifically asked for the chimi with grilled chick nothing else except queso on top and side of tomatillo. I picked it up and they had beans and quac smothered over it. So they remade it I specifically stated again what I wanted and he repeated it. When I got home I cut into it and it had shredded chicken, beans, rice, onions etc… so I called and he apologized and said he forgot to tell the cook I went back again and he assured me as I licked it Jo only grilled chicken and queso on top. I figured it be correct got home nope same thing had beans rice onions and all the same stuff I called and was then hung up on. The next day I called and the gentleman stated he would fix it for me and make sure it’s right, I was running behind so I called to say I’d be right there k just was running behind…this time it must have been the cook because he called me a liar and said he knows he cooked it correct and basically yelled at me I said sir I have pictures with the time stamp he said he wanted to see these pictures so I said I would email them or text them he said no he wanted to see them in person ! By this time im livid over this and hung up but here are the pictures to prove this was not cooked with only grilled chicken which I paid extra for and Shame on this staff for calling me a lair when I brought the first two meals right back in and when I called to bring the third back they hung up on me I knew they were closing at this point which is why I waited until today! Not sure why this cook thinks I would lie when I brought the meals rights back in and they hung up on me the last time! Meand my friends will never be returning to this place again! I paid 20.00 for something I didn’t even eat and then called a lair after making trips back there for the correct meal and I was being kind saying thank you, knowing people make mistakes wow!! My fiancé and I decided to dine in for lunch. She had a chicken chimichanga, cherry coke and Bahama Mama. I had a chicken and shrimp quesadilla with horchata. By the time we were greeted and asked for our drinks we already knew what we wanted to eat. Our waitress was sweet, but forgetful. I believe it was because it was her and another waiter working. They were pretty busy and I noticed maybe it was the manager or boss that was also working as a server, which is great because you rarely see that. We waited so long for our food that I wanted to go. They were not stingy with their liquor and the horchata was delicious! The lids for the to go cups do not fit their cups. There was more chicken than anything in my fiancé’s chimichanga and my quesadilla was a taco filled with chicken and shrimp. It wasn’t even cut into a quesadilla and if I did it, I would have only gotten 3 slices. The salsa wasn’t given homemade and the queso was good, but watery. I was so upset and overwhelmed with how busy they were with only three people working the floor and how my food was that I had two anxiety attacks. I should have left when I was thinking about it but my fiancé and I thought that when I got my food that I would feel better. Beyond upset and dissatisfied with this place. We waited 15-20 minutes to be seated, then we waited an additional 20 minutes for water. Water! After finally tracking down a person that wasn't our waiter as we never received one, our order was taken. We waited over an hour for food that we never received. We were told that our food was in the window, then told that we had 5 more tickets to go before our food was to arrive. Now I want to speak to the manager and he said 2 more minutes. By now I'm furious because we have been told 3 different things and we are hangry. Almost 2 hours and all we had was table chips and water. A mere apology will not suffice for this...
