Subway — Restaurant in Indianapolis

Went through Subway because I was craving a sandwich. Ordered a foot long spicy Italian with extra cheese. Was upcharged, but that's okay- I asked for it. Didnt want any extra toppings as the lettuce was brown and looked slimy, and I have to be careful for listeria (which can be found on unwashed produce) because I'm pregnant. I went to ask for a bag of chips and the girl ringing me up didn't even stop to let me get my chips, and tried rushing me out the door. I went to order the chips and she got mad because I didn't want to pay more for the drink because I only wanted water. I asked why my sandwich was showing up at such a high price and was copped back with a full attitude about how many pieces of cheese she put on my sandwich. I then started to get irritated and asked her if I could speak to the manager who was in an interview, and she acted shocked about me commenting on her attitude issue. I then called the store to speak with management, who was not very professional about the situation, and then blamed it on her pregnancy.

I'm 7 months pregnant, and I don't treat people this way at my job. I would be terminated if I did. I understand that we have bad days as humans, and I'm all about giving people the benefit of the doubt, but I'd like to take my business to a different restaurant where I'm treated like my money and...

I don't patron Subways unless at Trucker Stops anymore, as there are very few that don't leave you with the feeling it's all bread...but I would come to this one again.

Very Friendly and professional employees during my visit (Wed lunch time). They make it the way you would like, making me feel not so bad to be paying a $8-$12 sub instead of the previous $5 one. (One on 38th n Emerson charges you for extra onions or green pepper etc.... so order everything on it including tomatoes and Spinach and pick everything out and throw them away except those two things, change that owners' ways)

Clean atmosphere here. A variety of seating: single cushiony armchairs w/ coffee tables, high bar chairs w/ bar round tables, booth tables w/ chairs, outdoor seating, tables that be put together for large groups 14 plus.

I used to love to eat here. I won't go back now. Twice I have been overcharged. The first time by $60 and I had to get my bank involved. But I showed grace and came back. Tonight I was charged for multiple items I did not purchase and I was the only one there. Not only that, but my sandwich was not toasted all the way through and I found two bones in the meat. I tried to support them through Covid when they did the no coupon thing because I really enjoyed their service. Service AND food is horrible now. DO...
