We came from Cincinnati to the Sweetgreen, Keystone location today, the service was unsatisfactory and again, the server was rude and unprofessional. The server Elizabeth was the only one serving food along with working the cash register. As my husband and I waited in line (we were the last people in line), Elizabeth decreed that at 4:30pm, everyone would have to order online for food service which was would have taken another 35 mins when we were standing right there and had already been waiting. While we can completely understand how stressful it can be to work alone in a service complicity, it’s unnecessary to be rude or snarky to the customers.
Furthermore, we felt that Elizabeth should have taken our order directly, since we were the last in line before the 4:30pm cut off. To top it off, as we were leaving, we saw another employee outside eating. It would have made more sense to get through the rush then go for lunch.
We have been to this location several times before and the trend seems to be rude and disrespectful service. The food is really good… Some of the best salads I’ve had due to the vegan options which is why we kept coming back, but I do not plan to patronize Sweetgreen again due to the rude and poor service and ill-prepared...
Read moreOk so the issue is not the food it is how you have to get said food. They have so many things that are only made in the app. Think about it for 2 seconds. All the stuff is there. It’s not like they can’t just make it. But when you ask the staff they can but they will make an online only item as a custom bowl that will end up being almost double or you can do what I did and sit at a dirty table and try their app to process Apple Pay until it goes through then get told it will be 30 minutes. I can see the staff. Literally they know why I’m here and what I’m trying to get. 22 minutes later they put it on the to go shelf. Awesome experience. Their food is good but their process sucks and as an IT professional it is one of the worst ways to implement technology. Also try the novel concept of cleaning your tables. This place is gross. It really made waiting for the food a worse experience. If the restaurant is this gross how is the food handled behind...
Read moreThe food is great, as a visitor here for work I love trying new salad places but the service is terrible. There was ONE teen worker there who was kind, she had black hair, she was wearing glasses, a hat and maybe she had her hair pulled back in a bun ? and I think had braces ? she had GREAT customer service skills and she was really trying to do her job I feel bad for her because THE REST of the teenagers working there lack customer service skills. I’m not sure if it’s because you all aren’t paying enough to get someone there who is professional or you just don’t care but the people you hire and what you allow can really bring a business down. I really want to go back but I don’t want to deal with attitude, someone slamming things at customers, carelessly making a mess, talking on their phone, acting impatient and making people wait while they horseplay in the back. Someone needs to get in there and get those teenagers in line or fire them and...
