Wife stopped here and got us some burgers and fries. I ordered the “SmokeShack” burger which is a Angus beef cheeseburger with applewood-smoked bacon, chopped cherry peppers, and ShackSauce on a toasted potato bun (contains sesame, milk, wheat, egg, soy, and gluten) all for $8.29 @ 570 cals I must say this is by far one of the very best fast food burgers that I have ever eaten. The beef was flavorful by itself and with nice burnt ends. And with the other ingredients just perfect. The cherry peppers adds just the right amount of spicy heat, without overpowering your taste buds. The Wife sometimes being less adventurous than myself decided upon a “ShackBurger” which is a Angus beef cheeseburger with lettuce, tomato, and ShackSauce on a toasted potato bun (contains sesame, eggs, milk, soy, wheat, and gluten) for $6.59 @ 500 cals We both added crinkle fries to our burgers. I even enjoyed the fries which I can’t believe I’m about to say this are much better than McDonalds fries. They were cooked slightly brown and crispy with just a little salt, just perfect. $9 dollars for a burger with no fries shake or even a drink makes me so violently mad. Steak and shake is better, uses beef tallow, free fries and drink with a $4 double patty. And i can turn in my recepit to get a free milkshake after 5pm. I know this store stays busy, but i really wish it didn't. Thats the worse part of my experience is knowing we pay these prices and do it to ourselves. But even in this economy i have never seen a smash patty quite this expencive. And it was pretty meh, no charm, no character, didnt even taste good like steak n shake or freddys or wahlburger. Just a $9 bun with dissapointment inbetween. No drink no napkins no smile when served. Shake shack is a successful company, but one day i hope his legacy dries up and the owner of this company ends up in a desert alone with $1 and an empty stomach. Incredible shakes and burgers! 🍔 Hand spun milkshakes from freshly made custard is the perfect balance between light and rich. Vanilla and "black and white" are the best flavors. The burgers are delicious. The patties are well seasoned and cooked well done, like Steak 'n Shake. But crispy onions and avocado 🥑 elevate Shake Shack's burgers to the next level, with intricate tastes and textures. Shake Shack's burgers are one step above Steak 'n Shake, one step below the greasy burgers from local pubs (think Bricker's Pub or Kip's Pub), and two steps below That Burger Joint. 🍔 That Burger Joint still reigns supreme in terms of taste and quality of the meat, vegetables, brioche buns, and seasonings.
