Selection is massively overwhelming. An ok place to try a few unusual dishes you won't find elsewhere.
HOWEVER...... The quality is underwhelming. Don't get the sushi. Rice is not seasoned right, but if you like the nasty Chinese style sushi go for it. If you like tobiko (fish eggs) get a small dish of all 4 kinds (orange, red, green, black) they have. That was good. The black, red, and green had a slightly sweet taste while the orange was ocean salty. Don't bother getting hot pot, they don't have a quality selection and the ingredients are difficult to locate. They have a large selection of the run of the mill hot Chinese buffet selection along with some unusual but extremely cheap options. I don't recommend trying either snails. The small ones are high effort low taste. The large ones were very difficult to wrestle out (it took 2 of us to get it out) and was filled with sand. Yuck. Desserts had nice presentation but were cheapo pudding and low quality yogurts mostly. The cookies disintegrated in your hand. There was a notably good cake (that was not square cut) that I would recommend. Pickled chicken feet are available. An ideal dare food for a friend or sibling. Cheap and gross. My husband liked the 2 kinds of pork belly and I enjoyed the 2 kinds of Salmon. I found the octopus salad too salty but it was still good. Wonton soup was good and had a soothing broth. Another cheap staple. Boba was low flavor for the most part. Loud. Lack of service for Refills and clearing table. Also, we got unpleasant looks. Not crackers to open crab legs and claws.
Overall I recommend going once ONLY IF you want to try the unusual dishes and are a very adventurous eater. I don't recommend making this a regular place. We won't be back.
Another note. For the all day dinner the price had dropped to $29 and change. This is a reflection of the inability to sell such cheap dishes at the original higher price....
Read moreGood service ! Clean buffet restaurant.. very considerate for us first timer with kids, didnt charge us according to the height of my child, since its our first time. Good food.. not much variety but its descent.. dessert need to improve.. provide more options... sushi is great.. it's fresh.. the hot pot is quite small.. need to change it a bigger one.. servers are very polite and friendly. Definitely will come back if have money.. :-) coz its quite pricey.. but beyond, good job !!! Thank you
Our 2nd visit yesterday, was a pleasure.. very good and nice customer service.. but we notice something is no longer serve or not available during our visit is the buddha soup and some dimsums.. but still lots of food options... appreciate this restaurant because they LISTEN to their customers feedback.. i remember during our first time, kids were charged by height, but now they change it according to their age. Good job !!!
9/5.. need to downgrade everything to just 1 star. Very disappointing ! They had promo of free lobster tail for adult .., as they postes on fb.. but open arrival.. we were told that they still need to check if they have it !.. so dont believe what you see on social media! And when i show them the ad in fb.. thats the time they said they have it ! Wow! But it'a not what you see also in social media that their lobster tail was appetizing and buttery.. they served it as very cold with no butter at all and its very small.. we were scammed.. and their buffet tonight was so cold too.. all the seafoods were not fresh at all... the meat of the shrimp and crabs were disgusting! The server even didnt ask if we want hot pot... we always been to this place.. even rated them 4 stars before.. now ! It all sucks! .. heard they were closed for business because of sanitary issue... i guess its better for them to close forever.. !!! For sure.. this will...
Read moreNYE my boyfriend and I were celebrating our Anniversary. He is a chef and trying new foods and we’re looking for somewhere special to have lunch. I had read some negative reviews and was hesitant to try but we decided to give it a try anyways. I am so glad I did not listen to the poor reviews. I’m not sure if they came to eat on an off day but we experienced NONE of negative things that others posted. Upon arriving I instantly was welcomed by a friendly hostess to seated us immediately. The decor was so festive and beautiful with lots of attention to detail. The buffet was gorgeous! Everything beautifully displayed with bright lighting. Everything was clean and inviting. After being seated the staff was very attentive to us including refills, clearing plates and answering any questions we had. The food was delicious & I was very happy to see that there was so many authentic options! I think if someone is expecting a seafood bar to be like red lobster they will he disappointed… this is asian cuisine and if you are a picky eater there are a few items for you but this would be more for those who appreciate crab, rock claw, fresh raw fish, etc. The price is $40 per adult… if you just ate crab or sushi alone this paid for itself over and over! The rock claw was incredible and sweet! It tasted like what i used to get in florida and that alone would be so costly at another restaurant! Please don’t complain about a price if you do not appreciate all that they are offering which was VERY expensive options! Just 2 pieces of raw fish at a sushi restaurant would cost a quarter of the cost of the buffet and you get unlimited! Please give this...
