I always found great prices for beans and other items at Patel brothers. Last night I decided to purchase Curry from their newly open kitchen section ( Paneer Curry ). Gave dinner to my daughter and then I as I started to eat curry, It tasted rotten. I took a smell and it sure was gone bad as if it was kept at room temperature for more than 10 hours. I was serious anxious for my daughter as she ate the rotten curry. Monitored her whole night to ensure she was okay. She did have upset stomach late night till early morning.

The curry straightaway went into Trash. Very serious health risk with food items, keep yourself safe. I have sent a note to Health Department and awaiting their response. Avoid kitchen...

Update 09/15 - Bought curries from their kitchen today evening and both curries are stale and having pungent smell. Appears to me the temperature control was not followed and curries got very bad by evening. Should have not given the curries to my young kid.... Selling stale and bad food is a serious health risk Reducing raring from 5 to 3.

You get almost everything here that you can expect to find at Indian grocery store. Because of higher footfall, the restocking frequency it higher which means fresh products most of the times. Fresh Indian vegetables are a big relief for us. Store is kept well managed and well stocked all the times. It feels little crowded on weekends due to smaller space between shelves.
