We left without food. It wasnt a very good experience. When we walked in, there was a line at the register and another at the kiosk, which turned out to be just an iPad. Both lines had several people. We got in the kiosk line, but it was moving really slow. The register line emptied, so we moved over. Then we stood there for more than five minutes while staff moved around and completely ignored us. At that point, we had been there over ten minutes. More people had joined the kiosk line. No one said a word. No “please move to the iPad,” no “this register is now closed,” no “we’ll be with you in a few minutes." Nothing. And I was not about to get back in the kiosk line. Other customers looked just as confused as we were.
The food we saw on the counter looked great, just like the pictures. The staff were clearly working hard and pushing out orders. Probably understaffed for the size of the crowd on a Saturday night. I hope they’re being paid well. I assume there’s a tip option on the iPad?
They need better communication and better flow. Just a simple cash registered closed sign, or order here. Cheap, easy to print. Maybe add another iPad or two if that’s the main ordering method. Also consider trimming the menu or try to figure out what is making the ordering process so long. Way, way too long.
Might eventually make it back. Maybe. There's a rolled ice cream place in the mall, plenty if other ice cream stores and a half dozen boba places in the immediate area....
Read moreOverall good experience at Hi mango just some quirks to work out maybe. We ordered the Super Mango fruit tea and Creamy Mango both with boba. Both very fresh and delicious but definitely on the sweet end so will need to ask for less sugar next time. The wait on a weeknight took us about 25mins from walking in, to ordering, and then getting our drinks. They only had one small kiosk to order drinks on but no sign directing people that they weren’t taking orders at the counter - so people we standing in lines to get to the counter just to be told to order on the kiosk. The staff were very friendly though. They asked clarifying questions with my drink order to make sure they made it how I could enjoy it best! The restaurant was also very crowded but we were still able to find a seat. The inside is very cutely decorated and aesthetic. However, there were two decent leaks in the ceiling dripping on to the floor that had no bucket under them causing the floor to be very slick. Everyone’s dessert that were coming out looked delicious and fresh too but on the higher $$ end for a drink and one dessert. Fun for special outings and celebrations but not good for larger...
Read moreIf you're a fan of mango...then this is rhe place to be. They do offer non-mango items on the menu. I saw a dirty oreo drink that looked really yummy. It was super cute inside. They had a cleaning/sanitizing station. All desserts were served ona cute wooden tray with elegant dessert bowls. I asked for my dessert to go but I think the person taking my order forgot. She apologized and packed it up without giving me a hard time. Did I mention that it's super cute inside? It definitely doesn't look like the old Arby's. The color changing spoon added the final touch to my visit. I hope nothing but success for...
