On Wednesday, February 19th at 2:43pm, I ordered from this "Private owned" (according to the manager) Wendy's on 3640 N. Keystone in Indianapolis. As I pull to the second window to grab my food, a young man handed me my two bags. He then proceeds to hand me my drink but he turned and faced the total opposite direction while he's reaching his arm out the window holding my drink in his hand. He wouldn't look in my direction to properly hand me my drink at all!!! I'm trying to reach for my drink!! I had to literally readjust myself to reach for it. Then, once I was able to grab my drink, he then turns around and closes the drive thru window. No "thank you", "have a nice day", nothing! So, I got home and decided to call the manager or get a corporate office number. A female "Manager " answered and when asked for corporate number, she says they are private owned. When I asked for the private owner email info, she says "We don't know that, we never hear from HER, we don't know who SHE is" WOW. Ok, weird, but, ok. So I decided to tell this "Manager" my complaint. Once I was done the manager says "Well, The person you're speaking of is in training and we training for 3 days" I said "SO someone needs to retrain him" she rudely cuts me off and yells "NO MA'AM, THIS IS HIS FIRST DAY OF TRAINING AND YOU CAN FIND THE CORPORATEOFFICENUMBER YOURSELF!!" At this point, im confused as to WHY is this manager mad now? Why is this manager rudely cutting me off?? Im not yelling (yet), Im calm and giving suggestions and shes furious! I said, "If it's his first day, where's the trainer at that supposed to monitor him??" And what's the point of you defending UNTRAINED, RUDE, BEHAVIOR that you shouldn't have to be "TRAINED" On in the first place if you're working with the public?? By this time, the manager is literally having a hollering match with me. Literally. SHE HUNG UP IN MY FACE! I called back to get a number to someone over her and she hangs up AGAIN!! This is not the first time I've experienced this rude behavior from this Wendy's. I will not return. Their customer service is horrible and it seems to always be from a younger crew! My money will not fund this store any longer! Kudos to the gentleman that was in the first window collecting money. He's always polite and respectful with EXCELLENT customer service! He needs to be promoted to manager because that other manager is horrible, ...
Read moreThere's always an issue at this location my husband and I decided let's have Wendy's we pull up and tell us it's going to be a 15 minute wait because their systems down so they can't get our online app order to pull up we say okay we come back 15 minutes later and they still have issues telling people in the microphone oh we got a $80 order it's going to be another wait we finally get to the pick up window my wife ordered a handcrafted lemonade we watched as they got lemonade from the Coke machine we nicely told the girl we had a handcuffed lemonade they cost more than normal. The girl asked the girl making drinks is this a handcrafted lemonade she then lies and says yes I say no I watched you make it it's not handcrafted so then we're sitting there for another 5 minutes before they tell us to pull up and wait where we waited another 15 minutes they finally bring us the drink they didn't put ice in it it's completely hot but whatever we want to go home we go home just to find that our burgers are burnt little tiny patties that you can't even bite through and we had a spicy chicken sandwich seemed fine at first until I got to the park that wasn't cooked now the next day I am stuck in the bathroom throwing up and doing other things. Read moreI ordered a Hoosier bowl with no cheese and just ask them to put enough gravy on there for the biscuit. I get to the window. I explained to the guy that they don’t give you enough gravy in there to even eat your biscuit with I said, and then if You asked for extra they charge you and he’s like yeah it happens. I go to the next window look at the receipt and they did charge me for extra gravy without telling me because their drive-through screen wasn’t working.
