Wingstop — Restaurant in Indianapolis

Always a fan of this location until today.

I placed an order online today, website had crashed couple of times, so apparently that somehow switched my order from traditional wings to boneless wings. I live about 20mins away, I picked up the order and realized I got boneless wings instead of traditional when I got home. Called the store immediate but no one picked up until about the 9th time I called. Talked to the manager Catherine, and she refused to work with me (would not exchange due to covid reason, which I understand, but would not replace my order neither due to "inventory"). Then continued to tell me how there is nothing she could possibly do to help, only the GM can and the GM wont be here until tomorrow (all I wanted was my food at that point). Then she put me on hold for over 18 mins while "trying to get a hold of the GM". I was already on my way back to the store thinking they would work it out with me due to the website issue, but NO, I guess as a manager Catherine has no power to cancel my order, no power to refund me, no power to exchange my food, no power to give me the 20 wings, nothing... so I'm not sure what she actually can do at the store. Super disappointed with this type of customer service, they acted like I'm trying to get free food, when I had the food in my hand to "exchange". Always been a fan of this location but dont think I will come back anymore. After driving back and forth twice (80mins total), I went and got my wings from Ale Emporium instead with no issue, GREAT customer service, and super fast. Maybe Wingstop customer service can learn from other competitors. And at the end, it's TWENTY wings, I guess Wingstop can't afford to comp 20 wings even when it was their website issue.

Alright Indy so here we go for our first review for Wingstop! We will be grading it from a score of 1-5 And of course this will vary by location Because all locations are operated differently So this Wingstop is located on Shelby St US 31 Which many people will say is one of the best Wing Stop’s in Indy! So here we go with the review Service- 5 As soon as we enter the door we are greeted right away from these hard working employees And if their busy like they were when we went They offer to bring your order out to your car Wait time- 5 I was told when I placed my order that it would be ready within 25-30 min which they were true to their word and I was surprised because this was on a Friday night and they were busy and I had my wings and fries prepared well done Food- 5 Now I gotta be honest when I first took a bite of their Louisiana Rub Wings, it was like I was in a different world The Wings were cooked to perfection My only complaint is that the fries need to be cooked more to a crisp as I also got them well done but this isn’t a fry joint It’s a chicken joint So my final verdict, this establishment is definitely worth a go to From friendly welcoming staff To the mouth watering Wings They offer a wide variety of sauces Which their mainly known for their Lemon Pepper And Of course my favorite Louisiana Rub So is this place a smash or pass? We’re 100% certain of SMASH WingStop keep up the awesome work! I have been going to this Wingstop for seven years and I never had a bad experience to today. The cashier oluwatofunmiloba was so rude to me and other customers. When I originally called in I called in for 10 piece combo . I got there to Wingstop only to find out when she took my card she charge me for a 15 piece and that’s not what I asked for .Then when I told her that you know that’s not the order I asked for she got an attitude while her eyes into my car back on the table to me and then went back and got her manager.I’m not sure what’s going on with Wingstop because I always recommend the one on Shelbyville I stay 45 minutes away and it’s three other wingstop s by my house but I always go to that one because I always get good customer service but I will not be back she does not need to be a cashier I have worked in customer service for five years if I talked and treated people how she done today I...
