Style Encore Greenwood — Local services in Indianapolis

As long as Michelle (manager) is there I have zero issues with this place! I've been in here quite a few times - two of those times she has been there and I have sold quite a bit and she is super friendly and helpful....the other times she hasn't been there I've gotten attitude from employees/employees being rude or they just don't even actually look through my stuff (and it's painfully obvious) after having it for a long period of time. I actually voiced some of these concerns to Michelle yesterday and she actually listened to what I had to say and made me feel like my concerns mattered! The new employee working with her seemed promising as well!

**SIDE NOTE FOR THOSE WHO DID NOT KNOW THIS INFO (I WAS INFORMED OF IT YESTERDAY): This company amd other affiliated ones are supposed to be like "stair steps". Meaning it starts off with kids stuff at Once Upon a Child, then clothes for teens to around the age of 24 is Plato's. Clothing geared for 25+ is Style Encore. Style Encore also has a ton of inventory in different storage which is making the people in charge tell them be more selective about what they'll buy from us. Took a big tote of clothes in and it didn't bother me that they chose not to buy anything ... what bothered me was that I was told they would text me once they were finished going through everything. Well after going next door to another store for about 30 minutes, I still hadn't received a text so I went out to my car and continued to waste a couple more hours.. waiting waiting waiting.. (40 weeks pregnant too!) I finally walked back in. Was welcomed with a "welcome back" but then nothing.. so I asked one of the employees and she said, oh yours should be ready! And it was... so I wasted my afternoon waiting for a text that I never received!!! (and my name wasn't on the "ready board" either) I live on the other side of town so I didn't want to get home, just to turn back around, which is why I waited around. Customer service is a huge deal to me, and this was not good service. Brand-new to this store and selling clothes and I left highly...

I walked into the store with my mother and 2 women (1 in her twenties, the other women older) looked up from the counter and continued to do whatever they were doing. As they were BOTH still standing at the front counter “looking busy” we were checking out all the purses. Mid you we both had a purse in our hands ready to buy (1 coach, and 1 Kate spade) we continued to walk throughout the store, up and down all the aisles. Both women went down an aisle to hang up clothes and STILL no contact. Therefore we walked up to the counter Neither women were up there and sat the purses on the counter. The young women (nice) asked if we were ready to check out and I politely said we were but we were ignored and not greeted by the other 2. And we left the building, as we were leaving the mid twenties women had a smart A comment. Needless to say I won’t be returning or giving money to a store like that.
