Handel's Homemade Ice Cream Indio — Restaurant in Indio

We really like handles. The ice cream is delicious. We've never had a problem before with the ice cream or the service....but today was the first time. I got two cones and a waffle bowl through the drive thru. I've never had to ask for a lid for my bowl .. it's always ready to go. I assume bc common sense says that it's the DT/car to go out a lid on it. After the guy handed us our cones a young girl handed me my bowl with no lid. I said "oh can I have a lid, it's to go"... She very aggressively threw the spoon in the trash and seemed to have an attitude. I got a very aggressive "have a good one". Maybe she was having a bad day idk... But I know that I wasn't disrespectful when I asked. So not sure where it was coming from. I told my son to enjoy the cone bc we were taking a break from handels for a bit. At these prices we don't need to go anywhere where something like requesting a lid warrants a bad...

Question, I love your ice cream , I live in Indio and was excited that a store was opening in town, could stop having to drive over to Palm Desert. My question is why do you charge so much more for your than Palm Desert? PD bobble scoop on waffle cone is $5.75, Indio same order was $7.25. Same cone and same flavors. And PD I get to eat...

Large variety of flavors. Unfortunately I couldn't give it 5 stars because I like really cold hard ice cream and this was a little too melty for my taste. The service was exceptional and the young lady behind the counter was most helpful in letting me know which cooler had the hardest to dip since it was more frozen...
