Ordered 4 gorditas de carne asada and a large horchata. Total was $20. The horchata was excellent. Just the right amount of rice and cinnamon, even if just a bit too sweet. The gorditas were hand-made, but I wish they were made thicker. It was almost as thin as a tostada and was very crunchy as well. Great taste still, and the filling, including the asada, was tender and smoky like they grilled it. This is thee most authentic Mexican food I've ever had. From the cheese enchiladas to the sopes de carnitas or empanadas or gorditas, everything gets more delicious as I go through the menu. Yes they are professional, yes everything is going to taste amazing, but they're also so friendly and willing to make anything, even if not on the menu. Oh and the menudo, Wow. Nice spot for Mexican food whether you're dining with someone or ordering to go. Very small, but cozy atmosphere. Bilingual staff is nice and friendly too. My family has ordered the carne asada gorditas to-go for years when we didn't feel like cooking something up.
