H3 Inn & Suites - LAX Airport — Hotel in Inglewood

Sketchy hotel and location. Bad neighborhood.When you first walk in, the lobby is plain and very unwelcoming. i sensed that it felt unsafe. Pillows were flat and beds felt like cardboard. My friend and i awakened to hearing gunshot sounds and a man screaming help me over and over again at 1am. Bang, Bang, Help Me, Help Me, Bang Bang over again. It seemed like someone was attacked. We ran to the corner of the room; hid and called the police and they scanned the area. They did not see anything wrong with it. Half an hour later, we heard loud bangs, a man screaming help me repeatedly and a woman shouting. We called the receptionist and let him know what was going on. We heard the receptionist confront the people. Soon, we saw the same police come back with ambulance and a firefighter truck. We expected to see the people get taken out. Nothing happened. It was quiet. The next morning, we asked the receptionist on what happened. They were informed of the night’s incidents and said that it was a couple fighting. Another hotel patron also called about the noise. We demanded something be done because someone screaming help me, help me does not seem right. The receptionist informed us that the couple was on our floor and they were still there. We told him that we felt unsafe. He offered to switch floors, kick the couple out. The rest of our stay, i had anxiety. i felt huge knots in my stomach. You can hear the noise from the hallway and i jumped at every sound. Do yourself a favor, pay for a better hotel at a safe location.Worst hotel experience i’ve ever had. Terrible establishment very rude wanted to charge me an additional 45 dollars for early check in. Booked the room late at night, realized it was the wrong date, paid to change it around in front of the front desk receptionist. He (Jack) watched me do so, and in no way tried to help, then once I paid 30 dollars to change the date he told me that even though it was 1am on Friday the 25th I needed to call and rebook it somehow for the 24th after calling back I was then told that I can pay 105 additional dollars to check in at 1am on the 25th and change the date to the 24th. Then jack said I’ll give you a room (because there was rooms available) however I had to pay him an additional 90 dollars for the room. So in total I’d be paying almost 300 dollars for one night in the room seeing how my initial 70 dollars was taken with no possible refunds, don’t book Expedia don’t come to this hotel ran by money hungry rude people. The woman that works there is very nice and polite and knows customers service, the men don’t care at all for the job, the people, or their situations. Never have I been charged an early check in fee, never have I been told that it’s the 24th until the 25th at 3pm, never have I paid so much extra money to book a hotel that’s already been booked just on the incorrect day and I was going to pay every penny for it. Do not stay here the rooms aren’t the best unless you like mirrors and Jack will completely ruin your day. If I could give Zero stars I would, do not stay here I can NOT stress it enough...

Clean hotel. Room has a small kitchenette consisting of a microwave, a refrigerator and a stainless steel sink. Room also has a 32" flat screen tv. AC/Heater worked just fine. The bathroom is kind of spacious as well. There is a powerful hair blow dryer, clean granite on the shower walls and a clean but small white bath tub. The living area has lots of space. Here they have a sofa that seats 3 people. There are lots of lights all throughout the room, brand new grey hardwood flooring, as well as a huge mirror behind the bed. I'd definitely stay here again. Convenient location. Convenient price. You'll have a sense of safety due to the fact that the front desk has to buzz you in anytime you go to your car and come back. That was extremely annoying to (respectfully) say the absolute least! Breakfast is served. There's a $5 fee for parking and they made me pay cash... must place ticket in your dashboard.
