Mariscos El Puerto Escondido - Inglewood 3 — Restaurant in Inglewood

Bad .. Bad... Bad; I'd like to take this one star off and give them ZERO -- tonight I picked up dinner a simple 4 dinners and a kids plate - got all the way home and the fish In three of the dinners was RAW!!! And the shrimp in my camarones rancheros were BURNED - how exactly do you burn shrimp... I paid a total of $99.00 and when I called them to complain she said to bring back the "untouched plates to see if she could refund" well needless to say I made a huge stink about it not because of the refund but because of the disregard for the customer - they half cooked the to go stuff cause people won't usually bring it back... if we had consumed the raw fish we could have gotten sick - and the worst part of all the manager HORTENCIA pushed us to sign a waiver saying we returned the plates before she would gives us a refund, and refused to give us her managers or the owners name ... bad...

Food is overpriced and the quantities are small, my family and I were served by 2 different waitresses. The first waitress came to take our order and the second came to drop off the food about an hour later but not one of them came to see if we needed anything such as additional drinks or even more chips for our sea food so I had to go and ask for more chips which resulted in an additional 10 chips as what we counted. Once my family and I had finished our small portions of food that they gave us (my wife had 6 shrimps on her plate with beans and rice, camarones Al mojo de ajo). My son had a burned beef patty with his burger and I had some mango shrimp mixed plate which was actually not bad and at a decent sized portion. Over all the service was horrible, the food was overpriced and the quality of the food was mediocre. Go...

They used to have a lunch special that was pretty amazing, 6.99, your choice of drink couldn't beat it... now the lunch special is 9.99, same entree choices and no drink. Not to mention there's always bugs flying around inside, and as nice as the waitress is the food always comes slow. The regular menu, has entrees that sometimes go as high as 20 bucks and I just don't think this is the kind of restaurant that should be charging $20 for an entree when you have bugs flying around inside and a bathroom that seems like it hasn't been cleaned on the regular. The food itself has always been mediocre but like I said for 6.99 when you were getting a drink I can tolerate mediocre, higher prices and not better quality I must say bye-bye to...
