Casa Bell Motel — Hotel in Inglewood

It saddens me to write this review, however the way my love and I were treated by the lady working at the check-In window was disgusting. Her demeanor and attitude was very off-putting. Usually when we book rooms through Expedia the stipulations will state weather a deposit is required or if payment is needed for on-site parking. Their listing did not however they have a $50 deposit requirement posted on their window. Paying the deposit was not the issue, however when it was mentioned that this is something that should be posted on their listing. The lady got extremely rude and told us it doesn't matter, since we are from la we should know this, we should have called in advance. Well what about others that are not from la I thought.... She then got very belligerent and said some other things. I said please mam, you are in a customer service position and customer centricity should be your focus due to the fact that customers write reviews based on the way they are treated and their experience at your establishment which affects your money. We then told her we would pay the deposit and she refused to accept it due to her not wanting to take the chance on receiving a bad review and she cancelled our reservation. IF YOU APPRECIATE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WANT TO BE TREATED WITH RESPECT.......STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT...

From the pictures it looked clean, but on closer inspection there were a lot of bugs in the room, there were ashes in every draw in a non smoking room the sheets looked liked they haven’t been washed the bathroom was nasty bugs walking across the floor and walls the shower looked like it hasn’t been cleaned the carpet looked like it was from the 60s and to top it all of there was a line to check out because the staff wasn’t awake. I had to knock and beat on the window so someone would come to the front worst motel I’ve ever stayed at. I’m just gonna Pay extra and go some where nice because for the price it is...

So we stayed here last week for an early flight from LAX the next day. I knew we were going to arrive late and have to leave early, so I didn’t want to spend much. But it was OK. The room was a little run down, but it was clean and the bed was fairly comfortable. Ample parking and felt safe. So at the end of the day getting a bed within minutes of the airport for less than $60 was a bonus. Would I stay again? Probably if I just wanted a few hours sleep in a clean bed. But not if I wanted...
