WOMEN please beware this hotel is NOT safe!!
When my friend and I came to this hotel for the weekend to attend a concert we were given keys to a room that was occupied. I was able to open the door and see someone else’s stuff was inside and I could hear a person ask who was there. I quickly shut the door to leave and someone came out of the room next door shouting at us because they thought we stayed there the night before and we had been “screaming all night.” We had to quickly exit the situation before things escalated and could become potentially dangerous.
When we spoke to the front desk about our concerns, they gave us a new room key without an apology and sent us on our way to our new room. We asked to speak to the manager and a woman named Yessenia came to speak to us. She explained that the person in the room we booked was not supposed to be there and they had called the cops on her. Twice. We told her how what happened made us feel unsafe, not only because they gave us a working key to a room that was occupied, but because we were afraid someone could be given our new room key as well. Yessenia said if we felt unsafe we should leave the hotel. We had nowhere else to go. I was baffled by her response. We explained we are two women traveling alone and we could not go anywhere else as most hotels in the area were booked due to the concert. She offered us 1000 points that we refused because we will never be staying at this hotel chain ever again if this is what happens here. Yessenia was extremely dismissive of us and refused to give us a discount on our stay until the cops came to the lobby with the woman in our first room. The discount she ended up giving was 10% of one nights stay, a whole $39. I am extremely disappointed by the service by this hotel and the...

Read moreNot a bad place near the airport. Parking is under the building but only accessible from on direction on one street. Parking pass required.
The lobby is open and inviting and the gal who checked me in was great especially when you engage her in some conversation.
There is a free breakfast in the morning. Nothing about which to get excited but something to start your day.
Beyond the lobby are the rooms. Some hallway disrepair and damaged carpet. The rooms are large enough. The TV was very small and old. 32" from about 1-12 years ago. Only a dozen channels or so. The carpet is filthy and sticky to the feet. I took a damp towel and took one wipe against the carpet and it came up grey/black. Don't wear white socks on the carpet. Wear slides or shoes.
NO USB CHARGING!! C'mon folks. Who today doesn't use USB charging? Pull out your cube instead and find a worn out socket in the room lamps or wall.
The furniture is a bit worn and damaged and could use some repair and touch up. The bathroom shower is wanting. Unless you are 5"5" or shorter you will need to duck to rinse off. The drain plug was not connected and sitting loose in the bottom. On a bright note the towels were thick, largish and supple unlike many hotels these days at this price point.
The bed was old and not comfortable. The pillows are provided in several comfort levels which is nice.
The a/c is adjustable to lower than 68 which is nice for those who like to sleep cool. HOWEVER, the a/c is extremely vocal when turning on and off making loud clicking noises and some hissing sounds. Kept waking me up at night as it cycled. I tried to play some music to cover it up but it didn't work.
I would stay here again but with some different...
