I’ve been coming here for years. I live in Inglewood and I love the friendly warm service and wide selection of food they have. But I have one honest complaint. I hate to do it but it’s too critical not to share so I hope the owners are reading. I would rate this place 4 stars but I have to give it two because Every time I come here there’s something not fresh about my order. Like for example once I ordered chicken tacos and the pico de Gallo was rancid. Came back a couple days later and ordered the same thing w pico on the side to avoid what happened before and then the CHEESE on the tacos was RANCID, like it was literally sour to the taste. Came back another time and ordered asada fries I love those. Got home everything was fresh the pico the cheese but then BOOM the MEAT was OLD. It had that old meat after taste to it, it was so bad I couldn’t even eat it and that’s saying something cus it cost me about $20 for the large asada fries. So It’s like come on food is way too EXPENSIVE to be serving the loyal community OLD FOOD. Please do something about this bc at this point I be scared to waste my money just to get home and the food isn’t FRESH/HEALTHY/SAFE TO EAT bc the food is old and rancid. CHECK YOUR INVENTORY. It’s not that hard to smell the Ingredients to check if it’s SAFE TO SERVE??? Like dang not asking for much just food that isn’t SPOILED?????? Haven’t been back since the old meat asada fries. I be wanting to come back but can’t risk wasting hard earned money on a business that doesn’t even care if they are serving FRESH food. I always thought That’s the bare minimum ?? But if I wanted to get something like chili cheese fries a burger or a shake or pancakes I’d probably risk it but not buying my usual asada fries and crispy chicken tacos anymore. They keep disappointing me. And it’s too expensive to be taking these type of L’s. I will update this review if I see some changes in the quality of freshness of food. So I hope someone is out...
Read moreI absolutely loved this diner! My friend and I were going to the Depeche Mode concert at the Forum and wanted to get some dinner beforehand. I like to support mom and pop businesses rather than buy the overpriced venue food.
My navigation system took us to Century Blvd where we randomly happened on Melo Burger.
Parking on site was easy so we pulled in, drawn in by the signage, which guaranteed something we'd like. (We're both vegetarian but we like a greasy spoon here and there.) The menu is packed with choices, with plenty for vegetarians. (Vegans would need to do some research first.)
I got a huge breakfast burrito, fries and a drink for about twenty bucks. It was all served up quickly and piping hot, and was delicious. There are only three tables out front, but we snagged one with ease, and it was sparkling clean.
I have to give a huge shout out to the young lady working the counter on the evening of Tuesday, December 12, 2023. She was super helpful, knowledgeable, extremely polite, and with the rest of the staff, very efficient.
I can't wait to...
Read moreTo see 4 stars is so surprising because the food is not that great. The workers here are really nice and the service is never a problem for me! However, the quality of the food is very poor. They are open late which is a plus but unless you have nowhere else to eat, please don’t waste your money.
I’ve given this restaurant more than one chance, but my experiences have consistently been terrible. The first time I visited, I ordered a burger, and the bacon was sour—so bad that it had a greenish color. I was shocked and thought it might have been a one-off mistake, so I decided to give them another try.
On my next visit, I ordered breakfast instead, hoping for a better experience. Sadly, it was just as bad. Once again, the bacon was sour and inedible. It’s not just the bacon, though—the quality of the food across the board is poor.
This restaurant might have a four-star rating, but based on my experiences, it deserves far less. The food quality is abysmal, and I would not recommend eating here. Save your money and go...
