I recently visited Mike’s New York Pizzeria at 5035 W Slauson Ave, Los Angeles, CA, and I have to say, it was an amazing experience! The highlight of our meal was definitely the Buffalo wings. They were perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of heat and flavor. Each bite was juicy and packed with a delicious kick that had my kids and employees raving about them!

The pizza is also fantastic, but those wings truly stole the show. We’ve tried wings from various places, but Mike’s takes it to another level. The tangy sauce paired with the crispy skin made them simply irresistible.

On top of that, the customer service was exceptional! The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. The atmosphere is really nice and welcoming, perfect for a family outing or a casual meal with coworkers. Plus, there was plenty of parking, which made our visit even more convenient.

Whether you’re dining with family or grabbing a bite with friends, Mike’s is the place to be. I can’t recommend it enough—definitely a must-visit for...

I won't lie: the first time I tried this place, months ago, I was not impressed. Today, is a different day. This place deserves a spot in the top 10 best pizza restaurants in Los Angeles. Had the Grandma and the Meat Lovers. Both executed EXTREMELY WELL. For me, it all starts with a great crust. The Grandma has a fluffy bite at the top, crunchy bite at the bottom, and is masterfully balanced when it comes to the thickness of the dough. Great cheese, great sauce, great garnish!

The meat pizza, while being a different animal, was a home run! High quality meats (sausage, pepperoni, bacon, and hamburger), and it had a perfect undercarriage for a crust, tasty sauce, and the end of crust execution was great, also (the handle of the crust towards the back of the pizza. Lol) Excellent job, Mike....

Would honestly put “0 STARS” if possible.. Wrong Dish was Delivered — Even though I Called the Restaurant & ‘Confirmed’ My Order w/ an Employee literally just MINUTES after placing it..

THEN! After following up once they gave me a different meal.. was “BIZARRELY” told the dish I ordered wasn’t even technically on their Menu anymore?!?!? AND then, refused to offer a “single thing” to make it right afterwards.. NO Discount, Coupon, Refund, APOLOGY!! ..Nothing!!

Was hands down thee Most absurdly UNPROFESSIONAL & DISORGANIZED Restaurant Experience I’ve ever come across in the 8 Years I’ve Lived in LA..

Those “5.0 Stars” they “somehow” gained.. are NOT ACCURATE & probably just paid bots.. Please Ignore them, and Order...

I’ve seen some bad reviews for Mike’s NY Pizza. Not sure why since my experience was actually kind of good and authentic NY. I born and raised NY’er (upper west side). I grew up riding the subway and eating pizza slices. Since moving to LA 5 years ago I haven’t really found good NY pizza. Don’t get me wrong, there’s good pizza in LA but not NY style. I have driven past this place many times but anything called NY pizza usually isn’t. Today I tried it. I was hungry and had just dropped my wife off to get her nails done next door. Wow. Not bad at all and I didn’t even try a fresh pie. Thin crust, good sauce, and little oily from the pepperoni but that’s expected folks for NY pizza. I’ll be back.

Wow! I turned into this strip mall to find a new place for lunch, and I found Mike's Pizza! I probably would not have even noticed it had I not turned into the parking lot. It's a very understated storefront. I had cheese pizza with ricotta, and a couple of the fresh garlic knots with marinara. It was delicious! Their crust was spot on, very New York style, with a little bit of crispy and crunchy, and I liked it because the marinara sauce for the knots was not heavily salted. The service was efficient and friendly, and the tables were clean. The price was good, I was able to get a delicious lunch for under 15 bucks. Highly recommended! I can't wait to go back!!

Absolutely not!! I was born and raised in NYC, so I know how authentic NY pizza 🍕 looks and tastes like. Mike's NY Pizzeria doesn't come close to it. I asked if they were from NY and was told no, he lived there for 9 years. That doesn't qualify anymore to try and make NY pizza. The photos speak for themselves. This was my first and last visit to this establishment. 🤢 For someone who has never had authentic NYC pizza, this isn't anywhere near a substitute. Disgusting!!
