Angelotti's Pizza — Restaurant in Inverness

What a joke , this place is unreal! Ordered a pepperoni pizza they were out of pepperoni! Fine make it cheese, got it home and way way undercooked! So put a few slices in the oven cause we were starving! Then called back to ask for another 1 the right way and cooked through, I mean how can you sell that as a pizza place ? Knowing it's not done? The girl I was talking to was being asked questions by someone in the background asking why their calling from a different number after I told them the number and what the order was, and then asked us to bring it back?? Why? We all know the answer, ur not reselling it?? And. You can't serve it, they just wanted to not have to give anything extra when it was their fault! And their throwing it away rather than give it to hungry ppl, I mean what's the point in that? So wait another 30 minutes and get there, and they forgot about it in the oven and was completely burnt! So first one was raw, second was charcoal! Then have the balls to ask to wait again??!! Called back up there and explain the situation to some guy, and he got loud and sarcastic like he didn't care! So I told him the truth about customer service which when I called him out that's when he said come up here and say that!!! Wow man for a pizza?? You got bigger problems than that! And he said you guys already ate half of it already!! Which was 3 slices that were in the oven from their mistake, some ppl rate this place 5 starts lolol obv not real good critics ! If this Inverness so called Italian dive is 5 stars? Then I'm the freaking pope!!! You want a real pizza? Try dunnellon wood fire pies! Their great!! A little more expensive but way worth it and the employees don't yell at customers that's service 101, he obv doesn't care, and I said I was gonna write a review and he said I'm gonna write 1 about you!! Lol are you kidding me?? Which I said I don't serve garbage so there's nothing to write, and if I did have my own place I wouldn't treat customers like that! Idiot would have made things right he could have had a lot more money in the future, instead of arguing over a 2$ pizza which that's what it costs him , pizza is a huge profit margin! There's not so many pizza places cause their breaking even! So he lost a lot of money after I tell everyone what happened , especially being a local they listen to someone who has been to culinary school ! Place is...

Our first visit here and I don't think we'll return. It's too bad because we had better hopes and we feel sad about it. Hardly anyone was dining in and the server was not very attentive, right from the start. We ordered garlic knots and they came Smothered in parmesan. We have never had garlic knots like that in any other Italian or pizza place before. We flagged down the server and asked her if she would kindly make them without parmesan. We got a weird look from her and she said, "that's how we always make them." I said, this is our first time here and we've never gotten them like this from any other place. She brought out another one and, this time, they were completely Soaked in a deep bath of butter and we still saw no garlic pieces on top like there are at other Italian restaurants. When we dried them off with many napkins first, they did taste a little bit like garlic, so they must've used garlic powder in all of that butter. She dropped off the pizza and said not a word about the butter-drenched napkins all over the table. When some people came in that the server must've known, she really perked up and started smiling, and as she walked past our table again after seating them, she asked us how everything was. Lol, we both looked at each other because we were still trying to eat our garlic knots after drying them off in napkins and didn't even have a chance to take a slice of pizza yet. The pizza was not really flavorful, but we ate a couple of slices and decided to leave because flies kept landing on our food and my arm was tired from swatting them away. The server never checked on us again, but brought a box and the bill promptly when I asked. I'm glad she did because I just wanted to leave because it felt awkward in there. At the checkout, the guy asked us, "how was everything?" We both looked around awkwardly and gave a few smirks and said "uhm, Ok," just to leave quicker and not give them feedback. We didn't feel like they would even care anyway. It's just a feeling after observation of everything there. I try not to talk badly about a place either. My address is S Southpoint Ave, Floral City FL 34436, United States I have lived here for three years for the first 1year I always made the trek into Inverness to enjoy angellottis delicious pizza . On one of my visits I question the delivery process. The cook don’t exactly know his name but he’s also delivered my pie a few times he tells me sure we would be happy to deliver out to u so for two years I have been ordering and the only condition was that I spent at least 30 dollars no problem family of six it’s 40+ tip which was at least 5 to 10 dollars and the wait was always 2 hours again way worth it . But in a time during a pandemic this establishment says oh wait now u must order min of 40 . No problem again my order is always that price or more again worth it . But to be spoken too in such a manner that I was tonight never again will they receive any of my business don’t demand certain things and then two make us wait the two hours . I always tip 15% or better even two delivery drivers. I know the cook will know my address that’s why I posted it . It’s a shame that this pandemic has made people so greedy and nasty . No matter how good the food is the manager made it a ugly and distasteful place to do business. Never again everyone should boycott this establishment. I know I will never order nor will I ever refer anyone else . I will drive to Mariana stinky rose in Beverly Hills Florida bet they would deliver for a 40 60 dollar order and astonishingly better any ways bye...
