“Response from the owner 4 days ago Jack I am sorry that 2.6% put you out. We pass on the credit card fee we are charged by the processor. This is notated on the initial check that is dropped to your table or ticket you would be shown on a hand held. you have reviewed our Coralville business which you do not even dine at. Judging by your other reviews it looks like you should not dine out in general. But please do not return to our restaurants.”
I will be deleting my other review to place it in the right location, but if you want a great response from ownership, here ya go!
Adding a fee AFTER signing a bill is a horrible business practice. Suggesting guests should or shouldn’t dine out - more bad practice. Suggesting guests don’t come back in response to a review calling out probably illegal billing practices… that’s soft.
This is beside the fact we got charged 3 bucks for a ramekin of cole slaw (literally like 2.5 tablespoons), a beer refill took ten plus minutes, the food was unremarkable otherwise, and the service was forgettable except for the host who was great.
Too many good options surrounding this place to ever come back! Good...
Read moreI love the ReUnion in Coralville and was a little worried about trying this location after seeing some negative reviews closer to their opening, but was pleasantly surprised by our visit this evening. Our waitress was super nice and gave us a great rundown on specials and everything we ordered was delicious. Probably my favorite thing we ordered was the mushroom flatbread and the chicken lettuce wraps. My partner got the burger and fries and said it was super good and the salmon was also really delicious and presented beautifully. Even better is we came during happy hour so our drinks were cheaper. Even with a limited menu, the food options are great and prepared very well. For the price, I was surprised by the quality. Definitely excited to come back and hopefully have a similar experience and try...
Read moreI’ve genuinely never had a worse experience at a bar. I went to this bar during the st Patrick’s day bar crawl. I got to the male bouncers before 9 politely asked if I could buy a wristband early they said no we don’t sell them until 9. I understand this, and move on into the bar. I wait in the bar until 9 to go and buy a wristband before leaving. I go to the door near 8:59 Pm. I politely ask the female bouncer if it’s possible to buy a wristband. She says no. I respond with “it’s but it’s 8:59 though”. She says “well it’s not 9”. And not five seconds later a higher up came to her and said we are switching to wristbands right in front of me. She did not even bother to stop me and say you can buy one now. This was the most rude way I have been treated. I will never be...
