On 2/14 I tried to go thru the drive thru and order an acai bowl. The worker explained they did not have any fresh fruit, the mic kept cutting in and out and I could not understand what he was saying, whether they could still make smoothies and just not bowls or what, I kindly asked him to repeat himself as I did not understand what I could and could not order. I didn’t want to be annoying and try to order a smoothie if it wasn’t possible yknow? He replied with “wait a second” to which I waited patiently for FIVE silent minutes. I spoke into the speaker asking if anyone was there and if I could order yet, i was planning on ordering a hot sandwich instead to avoid the fruit situation altogether! But there was no reply and I waited an additional 5 minutes at the speaker to order. At this point I have been waiting at the speaker for about 12-15 minutes with no actual help. I asked if there was someone there once again to which I still got no response. I also had 3 cars waiting behind me by this point so I decided to pull up to the window to clarify the confusion. I also had two cars ahead* of me until I would reach the window, it took another 10 minutes before any worker opened the window for the first car, and an additional 15 minutes before ONE SINGULAR SMOOTHIE was handed to the customer. Mind you the only customers were those in the drive thru, there was only one car in the parking lot. At this point I’m angry because the worker explained they had no fruit and could not make smoothies or acai bowls yet here one was. The car ahead of me pulls up to the window and again another cycle of 10 minutes before a worker opens the window for the customer in the drive thru. It was apparent the man ahead of me was angry of the slow service and it appeared that THREE workers spoke to him in demeaning ways before slamming the window shut. Another 10 minutes of waiting. The person behind* me has not been helped at all through the speaker during any of this time and cars begin honking thinking she is just not moving forward after her order is taken but she hasn’t even been spoken to yet in 20 minutes!! This time TWO SMOOTHIES are handed out to the man ahead* of me. I had arrived at Jamba at 1:05 and was not able to leave the drive thru until 1:45. I did not want to try and order something because I knew I would be treated with disrespect and have to wait for an additional 20 minutes for a single item like the others ahead of me. Their service is completely horrible, no kindness, and poor communication skills as there were at LEAST 3 workers that could have been communicating with the customers at the speaker but instead blatantly ignored them altogether. They clearly were making everything take extremely long on purpose as it does not take 30 minutes for 3+ workers to make a...
Read moreI love the bagels & smoothies. Orange Dream Machine is my favorite. I'd give a better rating if they were ever actually open or at least stuck to their posted hours of service. I used to stop by pretty regularly till recently. I tried to stop by a couple weeks ago around 6:30pm & found a paper note taped to their drive thru speaker indicating they changed their hours to closing at 6pm which was not indicated online. Fine. A few days later I attempt to go again around 4pm, within the time previously posted, just to find a new note with another change in their hours indicating they closed at 4pm & still no update online. Annoying. Today I tried one more time around 2:30pm & again they had yet another new note with their closing time changed to 2pm & again no updates made online. Super frustrated & considering giving up on the place. This all shows complete lack of respect for their customers. They could at least have the decency to post new hours online so we don't have to waste our time going all the way ther just to not get anything. Absolutely...
Read moreWe went to this place that a couple of people in the group had been wanting to go for a while and had heard good things about, but we left disappointed, as a whole. We walked in and on one side of this divider, there was the bagel menu and pictures, the other side had pictures and menu for smoothies. There was a sign directing where to go to order, but it had a bagel picture and advertising above it, so that coincided with the idea that was the side where you order bagels. Naturally, we stood in front of the place that had what we wanted to get. Stood there for a while, probably almost 10 minutes, behind a group of people that seemed to be in line, until we were told we needed to go to the bagel side to order smoothies. Ok, as illogical as that was, we started to order. We had 5 people in our group, and every single one of us was unable to get the item on the menu, as listed, because they were out of something. It was pretty ridiculous, and the smoothies weren't anything exceptional that would match the fairly high price, so won't...
