Had the worst experience at Dunkin on Lake Murray Blvd Irmo Sc . And it’s the reason I won’t be back . I was not happy with my order that I had just paid 18 for . I went to the door to ask for another bagel in the rain they stood in the store and just looked at me . So I went to the drive though window to ask them if they planned to help me and told them why I was there . They sent a young girl out with the bagel . I asked for the owners number of course she didn’t know but was willing to find out. Out comes the supposed manager 5/22/2022 The manager or who claims to be the manager did not know her bosses number supposedly. Told me I can’t read and that she didn’t have time to deal with me or help me . She than went back inside shut the door and never came back with the number . I will never come back to that store again . There is more to this story . I will do the survey . I also plan to find out who owns that store and let them know that even when it’s hard to find workers gives no excuses to hire horrible ones and then put them in a management position . I will take my 30 or 4o dollars I spend there a week some where else . I’ve had enough of the rude behavior like they’re doing me a favor to take my order or money . Only one positive experience at that one and seems like that employee is no longer there. I’ve never even received that kind of treatment at Starbucks . I hope that she gets more complaints before all this inflation and market falls out . Consumers are tired of giving their hard earned money away for inferior service . Don’t these employees know without us they would have no job ? But thanks for the bad service . I can save my money now and make my coffee and bagel at home . Or what I should have been doing the whole time is supporting our local business here . But your place was convenient. So thanks for ruining my daily enjoyment with your less than...
Read moreLet's start off with the good... This place is clean and smells of heaven as you walk in. The coffee accessories, and the donuts, are well organized, and the place has very modern look.
Unfortunately, there's a "bad"... I walk in to find that there is no one at the counter, there were no other customers here either, no one at all. Like a gentleman, I walk to the front counter and I wait for a little bit because chances are that someone may just have walked to the back of the store for some reason, and was notified of my entrance, so they are probably on their way back to the front desk...
No such luck. After a full awkward 3-4 minutes of standing in complete silence, waiting for someone to attend me, I finally start looking around the small facility for anyone than could help me. I finally catch a glimpse of a person in the back either taking or putting some dough into a machine or oven.
I stood right in his line of sight to get his attention, and it still took about another 15 second before he noticed me. So, he noticed me, and just kind of stared at me strangely, as if saying "what?". I finally asked him if there was anyone here that could help me. The employee didn't say anything, he just ran further into the back to grab another guy. And then that guy finally helped he.
It took about 10 minutes to buy 6 simple old fashion donuts. Amazing! - and not in a good way. I don't know who's managing this place, but it should never take about 10 minutes to buy 6 donuts, especially when there are no other customers there to hold up a non-existing line.
Besides the yummy smell of the establishment, I just can't recommend this place due to the really bad customer service. I'd give it one star, but it's not the yummy donut's fault that the service was...
Read moreThis location is close to my job, so I find myself going here more often than I would like to. Now that a Starbucks is opening nearby, I will no longer be giving this store my business. They always get my order incorrect, and then have an attitude when I try and correct it. Today they gave me chocolate donuts instead of a bacon egg and cheese bagel. I noticed it when I got to work, and gave them a call. The woman on the phone had ZERO customer service, and was very rude. She offered a 'replacement' if I would come back and get it. I'm at work...how am I supposed to do that? All I was asking for was a refund of my order back to my card. That shouldn't be a difficult request for such a large business. She said she couldn't do it. She can only refund me if I came back to Dunkin? She said they can't issue refunds without the person or card present. She wasn't willing to make any accommodations at all. I work in customer service/billing and I've never seen a system not allow you to issue a refund because you don't have the card present. Either Dunkin needs to update their policies/systems or their staff! I'm very disappointed, I guess I am just out the money for my meal since I'm not going to eat these nasty dry...
