Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Irmo

In the past, the Sonic on Dutch Fork Rd has had good service. However, I have been very disappointed so far this summer. Here are just 3 examples of how downhill it is going: 1. I asked for my usual cheesecake Oreo shake and only get a plain vanilla but didn’t notice until I drove away, but was charged full price. 2. I requested a Sonic cheeseburger with everything except pickles. When I got home to eat, it was a dry PLAIN hamburger with EXTRA pickles, again charged full price at over $8 for a dry empty hamburger. 3. My final try before I’m giving up on them was when I requested a large Sprite w/ extra ice. When the employee handed it to me, there was very very little ice. Since it was a hot day and I had an hours trip to go, I asked if I could please get more ice. I was told (in a rude condescending voice) that their regular ice was out and that the only way to get more ice was to pay the full drink price for an additional cup of ice only ( $3- $4 ?). Just treated so rudely & disrespectful!!!!! I go to this location every single day in uniform and have never ever been disrespected, but today I go in civilian clothes and was treated the most disrespectful and rude I've been treated and quite some time. Then after almost being denied contact information for management, I was further looked at as if I was speaking a different language when very young management comes out the door to speak with me. This location really needs to think long and hard about getting some more experience and season management as well as employees because you have just lost a very very very frequent and lucrative customer. I should be valued as a customer whether I am in uniform or whether I am in civilian clothing. I am so hurt and feel so very disrespected...

If I could give 0 stars I would me and my mom went here for shakes we got us 2 small shakes and some pretzels and ate in the parking lot they forgot our cherries and we were gonna go back in the drive thru anyways to get my brothers some shakes so we thought we might as well ask them for our 2 other cherries they forgot mind you it was only Like 5 minutes between these 2 orders and they insisted on charging us extra for the 2 cherries even though they are the ones who forgot them plus they almost forgot to give us our cheese for our pretzels until we reminded them and the girl was rude idk what her name was but she kept saying she gave us our cherries and if we wanted extra she would have to charge us but you didn’t even give it to us at first.
