As I drove past Mcd’s on my way to Wendy’s I noticed the drive through line was basically wrapped around the building. I thought to myself “why??” In my opinion Mcd’s is just junk food. And not the yummy kind of junk food. There is just simply nothing good about it. Back to Wendy’s, and this one in particular- I got through this drive through in no time. I was not asked to pull up, pull around to other side, or park and wait. I ordered a Baconator burger with their delicious sea salt fries (which were actually fresh and hadn’t been sitting under a heat lamp for 3 hours). I would, of course, have gotten a frosty (frostee? Hmm..) but I was “working” at my stupid “job” so I didn’t have a whole lot of time to “indulge” (other than on the delicious mouth watering bacon 🤤). I don’t have a Wendy’s close to where I live, so I only get it when I’m traveling north or south. I usually go out of my way for it because I really just love this place as far as fast food restaurants are concerned. I always find that the insides are cleaner, the people are friendlier and it just seems like a happier place. Maybe I’m just seeing what I want, who knows? I’m certainly happy to have this option over other ones I don’t so much care for. Oh yeah, and they got everything on my order correct and didn’t mash my burger down the the thickness of a nickel- so another...
Read moreWell, they got my order wrong and gave me cold food. I ordered the biggie bag for five dollars that's supposed to fine with a bacon and cheese burger with fries, nuggets and a drink. Okay, no complaints about the drink, though I wished it was larger. The burger had no bacon and both the fries and nuggets were cold and rather dark and wrinkly-looking. When I paid at the drive through window, there girl gave me too much change back and I didn't think anything of it at first because she said she hit the wrong button, but when I looked at the receipt, it was clear that she gave me eight cents back that I wasn't due, all in pennies. The girl was cute and all, but maybe not too bright, ya know? I've worked at the drive through window in fast food before and I was good at it because I can do math in my head, but it seems like people these days just can't. I keep running into these younger folks more and more that can't do simple addition and subtraction in their head. Oh well. So, I called customer service just to let them know, but not so much as to ask for my money back or anything. They took my number down and promised to pass my info off to the store in question, but I haven't heard back from the management yet. Overall, I would have to say that I find myself disappointed in the Wendy's at this location at least...
Read moreI have been there many times when service was alright, but today was HORRIBLE. first, one of the young guys treated the new girl working register horribly for just asking a question. secondly, two of the cooks keep yelling profanity and derogatory comments to each other so loudly I could hear it clearly in the very back of restaurant. thirdly, they gave me a regular spicy chicken sandwich instead of the ghost pepper one. not a big deal at all, I was happy to bring my receipt to the front and get the proper one. however, when one of the cooks saw me he just stared at me like "what do you want" so I told him the problem. he then eye rolls me and walks to the back and yells at the other cook for "not giving him the right damn sandwich" so here I am awkwardly standing at the counter. finally, the nice girl training who was on register helps me and asked them about it and apologized and said it's coming. when the sandwich was done, the rude cook threw it at me across the counter and walked away. HORRIBLE ON THEM. come to find out, one of these awful boys must've been a team lead and was "training" the girl on register. I advise she quits because she does not deserve that treatment nor should she be associated with people that treat others and act so poorly....
