Habit Burger & Grill — Restaurant in Irvine

I am never disappointed with The Habit. The burgers smell delicious on the walk over. Burger patties there are hot off the grill and well-seasoned. My goto burger is the teriyaki pineapple burger, no cheese, no mayo, with lettuce wrap. Minus points because I have to ask for no mayo on a teriyaki burger, that should be given, but I'll let them slide because the burger is so good.

My personal favorite side dish is the tempura green beans. They don't need a sauce or dressing, they are perfect when they are hot and salty right out of the fryer. I feel much healthier when I order them over a side of fries.

I also like the variety of special offerings next to the drink machine. Adding jalapeños or banana peppers to my burger can be nice. I haven't been in the dining room lately to enjoy those offering though.

Operationally, The Habit also offers better service relative to most other fast food restaurants. While the ordering process is similar, the pickup process is superior. Their paging puck system informs you when your order is ready, no need to stand at the counter and wait for a number call, just sit and enjoy yourself at the table while you wait.

Restaurant is styled nicely and always clean. Seating has good variety of options for single, small and larger parties. Outdoor dining has always been available, so if you can get a table you can enjoy a sunny...

I think I have found my favorite burger joint. Now, first, let me say I'm a vegetarian/pescatarian. So I don't need hamburger meat. However, for you, vegetarians, or even vegans (my daughter), I'm telling you this place is great. Not only do they have a Beyond Burger, but I have had, on several occasions have them to make me just a mushroom burger.

But that Ahi Tuna Sandwhich has got to be one of the best items on their menu. It is always cooked just right with this perfect amount of sauces and lettuce and tomato. And if you have never had it, it is actually a puce of tuna. Not ground Tuna shaped into a burger. But a huge piece od Ahi. Ymmmmm! It is so delicious! And then you add to it the green beans or garlic fries or onion rings, and you're in heaven.

My husband is totally into that Santa Fe Burger, which really looks delicious! But he said it is one of their best things on the menu for the land meat eaters.

If you have not tried a habit, do yourself a favor and go! You won't be sorry. Oh, and try a shake! My tummy won't allow me to do milk anymore, and I am sad. Wow, are they...

Extremely bad service by Rebeca!!! Very good food, my family loves this place usually very good service as well, but tonight we had the worse service I have ever gotten anywhere by a so called manager Rebecca she had the worse attitude when I said that I had ordered sweet potato fries she never opalogized for getting the order wrong simply gave me an attitude and said she would take them to me when they were done I took my burger and 30 minutes later I go check to see if my fries were almost done by that time I was done eating come to find out that she never told the cook to make them when I told her I didn't want them anymore because the cook was just about to make them and I wanted a refund she mad a huge seen and again an attitude I had to explain to her about 4 times that I needed my money back at first she only gave my the difference I paid for them knowing well that I had never gotten any fries at all at the end she ended up giving me my money back. Extremely rude person when I never started of being rude to her at all, people like her not work in customer service....
