Complaint about their crumbling ube overload cake to the Manager Heide. It was for my dad’s birthday, who loves Ube cake. The response was unbelievable—very poor customer service. Heide’s voice was high during the phone call, and I was asked, “So what do you want me to do? We don’t do refunds!” Not after the refund; I just wanted to ask when the cake was made because it was so dry and crumbled. I told her it crumbled when we sliced it. Do you want me to pick it up from the trash? She said, “That’s why you need to slice it with a hot knife!” I never heard of that before! We were given the plastic knife together with the cakes! She said, “Pick up another cake here that matches the amount you got, and bring your receipt!” I read another comment here about her being rude and it is legit. I don’t know why she got the position, but she is not a good representative of the company we loved in the Philippines. I hope the Red Ribbon corporate can read this message. Please train your...
Read moreI would say the quality of Red Ribbons cakes have gone so bad. We purchased Ube cake. 1) texture was not the usual Red Ribbon cake known for its smooth and moist texture. The supposed ube cake was sugary with a strong bitter after taste. (3) Packaging: i The cake was sold/packed in a lousy designed box.
We had to throw away the entire cake after one slice. It was awful.
