Panda Express — Restaurant in Irvine

Just placed an order there at 7:15 pm 11/1/23 through UberEats. The cashier and server told me they didn’t have the order. Then a few minutes later told me that a driver picked up the food already. My order was a pick up order. A driver should not have touched it. One of the managers came out to try to resolve the situation. He told me that he is basically giving away free food. Honestly I don’t care. I paid for my food. Someone else picked it up. That’s not my problem. I came to pick up the food that I paid for. Write it off as a loss at the end of the year. The only thing he needed to do was apologize and serve the food. After that he could have had a conversation with his team members on making sure that pick up orders are not being taken by delivery drivers. And again.. writing the food off as a loss at the end...

The food was ok. What i was upset about was the person on the speaker taking my order was not paying attention i heard her talking to someone. She repeated my order back to me 3 times and nothing was correct. She then asked me to repeat myself so i did. Wrong again. She then told me to repeat again. I didn't i waited till she stopped talking to another person. Then she asked to repeat my order. I then asked her are you ready to pay attention. She answered with a smart mouth. I am paying attention. So i repeated my order yet again. So i did very clearly and loud and slow. Finley after she got mos of it right i went to the pay window and there i spoke to another person whom i explained that the girl who took my original order got it wrong evetytime and i repeated it to her at...

While waiting for my order, which was not yet ready, a staff member wearing a name tag that said “DYAMOND” suddenly asked me to pay. Although I understood the need for payment, she walked away before the transaction was completed, and as a result, I couldn’t mention that I wanted to use a discount coupon. Right after the payment was processed, she returned, and when I told her I wanted to use the coupon, she said it was too late and that I could use it next time. If she had at least given me the chance to request using the coupon, I wouldn’t be writing this complaint.

Not only that, but I don’t understand why such rude staff are placed at the front. I am paying for my meal, and this experience has left a very bad taste...
