Subway — Restaurant in Irvine

I came all the way down from Riverside to get paperwork from a location here in Santa Ana. Obviously starving I stopped by this Subway and I was greeted so nicely. I believe his name was Luis or Lu. But he was so kind and easy going. He didn’t make me feel rushed and didn’t look annoyed when I didn’t know what to order. In fact he actually explained how the menu works. The staff was very friendly and efficient. They spoke Spanish as needed for customers. Sandwich was well made and delicious. Advertised price of $6.49 was for foot long. Problem was there was no combo price so i was thrown off at the cashier stand when price came to over $11! They get you on the extras. So very misleading pricing. I can't believe my eyes but there's a subway sandwich shop inside of a gas station. Have I been living under a rock or what is this a new thing because I've never seen this before.
