Reynolds Sandwich — Restaurant in Irvine

Things have recently improved a lot. Portion sizes increased slightly so I don't feel hungry at 3. They appear to have moved away from the semi mushy bread they had. The new bread isn't, OMG, but for the land of Wonder 'bread', AKA the OC, this is pretty good bread.

Breakfast isn't bad, but an egg is an egg. The bacon is the usual American-style cooked until it is like a piece of salted wood. So I much prefer the sausage in my breakfast burrito. They have other choices but I can call it in, walk across the street and eat the burrito on the walk back.

Some people whine about the service, but I like it. No fake "WELCOME!" and bell ringing. When they smile and take your order it seems genuine simply because they don't plaster a fake smile on when they arrive at work. Honest...

Used to be really good, service was good, they were quick even when busy. Ever since it's been under new ownership, the service has gone downhill. I thought I'd give them one last try this morning, I called to order and the minute this person picked up the phone super roude, I had already told him what I wanted and he kept being roude so I decided not to give them my business. I miss the previous owners. They were very caring to meet their custumer's needs. It is too complicated to order at this place now. Their customer service became so poor that I just decided not to go back anymore. My co-workers decided the same. I hope the new owner reconsider his attitude, especially having Farmer Boys as a competitor, which meals are bigger and customer service...
