If there's one place that holds a special spot in my heart (and stomach), it's The Kebab Shop. This gem of a spot has not only been a go-to for delicious lunches at work but also a staple for family meals, weaving its way into our daily lives with its irresistible mixed Lamb and Beef wraps.
The secret to their wraps, you ask? It's unequivocally the garlic and dill sauces. These condiments aren't just add-ons; they are the soul of The Kebab Shop experience, elevating every bite into a harmonious blend of flavors that keeps you coming back for more. It's this attention to detail and quality that sets them apart from any other kebab place I've visited.
But what truly makes The Kebab Shop shine is its people. The staff here is always awesome and friendly, making each visit feel like a warm welcome home. Their smiles are as consistent as the quality of their food, and in a world that's often too busy, these moments of genuine kindness are a treasure.
The loyalty program deserves a shoutout too. It's incredibly rewarding, making each delicious meal a step towards another. This thoughtful touch adds to the many reasons I love frequenting The Kebab Shop.
During the challenging times of COVID, The Kebab Shop emerged as a savior with their generous family-size meals. They not only provided comfort through their food but also a sense of support to the community, making it clear that they were more than just a restaurant; they were part of our extended family.
All in all, I love this place with all my heart. The Kebab Shop isn't just a restaurant to me; it's a haven of delicious food, warm smiles, and a testament to the power of community support during tough times. Whether for a quick lunch at work or a family dinner, The Kebab Shop delivers not just fantastic meals but also a dose of happiness.
For anyone who hasn't had the pleasure, do yourself a favor and visit The Kebab Shop. Whether you're there for the mixed Lamb and Beef wraps, the standout sauces, or the friendly faces, you're in for a treat. It's more than just food; it's an experience — one that I'm grateful to have so...
Read moreHave been a regular customer of this chain for a few years now. Specifically, this location. The food is usually decent enough to keep me going back. This review is for management visibility since, recently, employes clearly do not care. First, for a couple of months now, there is a sewage smell in the restaurant. Can't be a good sign. Second, during my last two visits, they have messed up my orders and they refused to do anything about it. First time, they had to fix it since I was not picking up the wrong order until it is resolved. The second time (2/4/24), I decided to order through the self order machine, in order to avoid any miscommunication. I ordered two boxes and two sides. One box was prepared right. Second box, was a falafel box for a vegeterian. And the two sides were fries ($4.50 or so) and lamb beef gyro ($6.00) for a 19 months kid (no kids menu from what I could see). In return, they gave me a box with falafel (as ordered) toped with the side gyro, and on the side the fries (as ordered). I told them, that I ordered a side of gyro like the side of fries and it should be on the side. I did not order them as additional options on my box ($1-$2 or so). They told me that that's how they do it. I laughed and explained that it is a side, so it should be on the side like the fries. They refused to do anything about it. I justified that the falafel box is for a vegeterian and the gyro is for an infant that does not eat the white garlic sauce. Common sense, would be to give me what I order and paid for. The response that I got was, "Ok" and the employee turned his back and left. I wish I could keep it together and insist to talk to someone else but I just left angry. I will go to this place one more time, to just get my free meal (use rewards) and never going back after that. Not sure why the employees do not care but customers should not be the victims.
P.S. I usually tip 15% even if I take out. I believe that it is more than fair for a place that you order, pick up your food and clean once...
Read moreLocated in the forever bustling Los Olivos Marketplace, The Kebab Shop is surrounded by a variety of trendy eateries that are all unique and sure to satisfy your whole party. We were looking for a quick fix and had an inkling for some garlic sauce which drops you right into Turkish Cuisine. It was a Sunday afternoon, ordered through their website for pick up and all in all the total wait before pick up was about 10 minutes. A totally seamless process for pick up. Before getting to the nitty gritty of the order, I’m just going to end the summary by saying I’m pretty disappointed with the meal, and won’t be back to try anything else.
The Fries Wrap - Beef Meatballs - ($10.75) - The size of this wrap was HUGE, Duy has a big appetite and even he only ended up eating half, while saving the other half for dinner. The overall flavor though was underwhelming. Beef meatballs were bland and the only saving graces for this was the additional sauces ordered. Box - Grilled Chicken - Saffron Rice with Fries - ($13.25) - In both the wrap and the box the fries were super sad. Limp and soggy, while the chunks of chicken were super dry and bland. Was the $1 extra worth the add-on into my box? No. I also ended up adding in an order of pita bread which was a good call since the only thing we both ended up really enjoying were the sauces. Well, just specifically one. Garlic Yogurt Sauce - Waterrrrrrrrry, garlic, where? This was plain yogurt. Spicy Cilantro Sauce - 5/5 this free green sauce was the 1 thing that made each of our entrees decent which should say a ton. Spicy Chili Sauce - Good...
