So Gong Dong Tofu & BBQ — Restaurant in Irvine

The there isn't much wrong with the food, it tasted fine, but it is way too expensive when compared to BCD Soft Tofu and Kaju Soft Tofu, who I would take are their main competition.

I got about half the food for at least $5 more and if I ordered what I usually get at Kaju, instead of it costing me $19, it would have been $35.

I am also used to having my banchan refilled, maybe even multiple times and no one ever offered. I could have asked, but I deliberately didn't. About the fourth time a staff member passed my table without saying a word to me to how things were etc, all I wanted to do was get...

I came here today to eat Lunch and had such a wonderful meal of korean tofu soup. I got the beef regular spice tofu soup with rice and enjoyed it. It was flavorful and not too spicy. All the side dishes were delicious..especially the cucumber side dish. I also got seafood pancake which was great with the soy sauce. The stone pot bibimbap was also nice as it sizzled and stayed hot during the whole meal!! 😋 I would definitely come back to try their other appetizers and bento boxes. The owner was so kind and friendly and she was so sweet to explain...

I had such a great experience at Sogongdong Tofu House! The food was absolutely delicious — everything was fresh, flavorful, and comforting. The side dishes were especially impressive and added so much variety to the meal.

A special shoutout to Yunji, our server, who truly made the experience even better. She was so bright, friendly, and always had a warm smile on her face. Her energy was contagious and made us feel genuinely welcome.

Highly recommend this place if you're craving quality Korean tofu soup and amazing service. Can’t wait...
