If it were not for the Beef and Cheddar sandwich there would not be a lot of need to ever go back to Arby's again. I just get a craving for that sandwich that I need to fulfil every once in a while. This is the closest Arby's to my office so I tend to visit here every so often and I will share that it is just OK.
I do not know what they are doing right now but this Arby's just feels bad when you walk in right now because their menu boards and front lobby are not in order. It has been this way for a while now. It just feels like an owner or manger is not caring enough to get the project completed.
The staff I have encountered at the front counter have actually been pretty good, and I have always got what I ordered. They verify your order and are pretty on the ball for getting you through the line.
The sandwiches have been good and meet my expectations. I am still sad that potato cakes are gone, and I just do not like either the curly or crinkle fries. I have tried both and I just want the sandwich and the drink now.
Recently there was a poster for fish and chips and I decided to break out and try it instead of my old standby. Do not let the picture fool you. It does not look like the picture at all when it comes out. The fish comes in a fry box, so you tray has two fry boxes on it when you get it, pretty gloomy. In addition they do not have tartar sauce to serve with the fish. How do you have fish and chips without tartar, and it is even pictured on the poster.
If you have a craving for one of their sandwiches you will get good food. There are some things this Arby's could do to up its game and become a better...
Read moreOkay so I really wanted to give Arby's a chance as I don't usually head there and wanted to try something new but what I found was repulsing. Ordered though the drive-thru and had to wait a little more than 7 minutes for my premium chicken nuggets(That's what they said they were waiting on). I had also ordered 2 other sandwiches which was fine but I felt like $3 for a large fanta is way too much and you can get a whole bottle for about the same or less. I get home to start enjoying my food and finished my drink quickly as a good amount of it was just ice. After opening the lid to munch on the ice, I discover a dead fly just sitting on top of the ice. I don't have any flies in my home or my car and I never opened the lid before that point so I know that it was from this establishment. I haven't felt so disgusted in my life and can't help but think if they were messing with the rest of my food those 7 minutes after they handed me my drink. The same food I had already consumed at this point mind you. It really feels like they placed bugs in my food because how else is a fly going to get inside a drink with a lid on it? A health and safety inspector need to be aware of this location because this is just...
Read moreUPDATE I put this at 1 star now. Last review was 2 yrs ago. I decided to give it another try and to my surprise, nothing has changed, except that I didn't get a hair in my food. My roast beef was cut too thick, it was dry and chewy, as if it was old. It was also just barely warm. My fries and my jalapeño poppers were barely warm. What is going with this place?? 😳 Every review on here states the food is stale or old tasting!! When are they going to make this place better? They NEVER answer the phone. I would have to drive across town to just go in and complain. This was a $20.00 meal for 1 person. This is the only Arby's in Irving and they are messing it up! Please fix these issues!
I usually do not have a problem with this Arbys, but I drove across town to get some food and drove back home only to have cold roast beef with hair in it. Not to mention a few people there not wearing gloves. I realize kids work at most of these places now, but that...
