Cowboys donut — Restaurant in Irving

So Tuesday morning around 8am or so, I stopped by Cowboy Donut to, well, get donuts. I went inside, grabbed 3 drinks from the refrigerator and turned to the counter. I was greeted by a man at the counter and placed my order. So he boxes everything up and when he's finished I have 1 big box, 1 medium sized box, 2 small paper bags and 3 drinks. I then had to ask for a bag to put some of the items in, which he did not seem too happy to provide. After I put the donuts in a bag I still ended up having to carry the drinks separately and without a bag! I looked like a clown trying to juggle all of that stuff. I just don't understand why it seems like recently, the donut shops I've been to act like it just kills them to give you a bag to carry the items you purchased in. And it's not like donuts are getting cheaper or anything let's be real. I feel like for the prices people pay for donuts we could at least get a bag to carry them in without having to ask and feel like we're inconveniencing the people behind the counter. Maybe I'm just asking too...

Healthy smoothies!? So, I normally make my own smoothies at home but I didn’t have fruit this morning. I pull up to the drive through ask for a strawberry banana smoothie. I also ask if they have yogurt since we are claiming to be healthy. No, they do not. Do you have coconut or almond milk? No, they do not. Okay, I will take my smoothie with just ice and water (no big deal do it all the time at home). The picture below is the product I received. It doesn’t even look natural. It is the color of Pepto Bismal and literally tastes like a banana flavored runt and no taste of strawberry or anything I could consider a real fruit. A total waste of $4.32. Been coming here for about 2 years. However, went this morning around 5:15 AM, ordered 3 chocolate glazed donuts, which were still fresh (icing just placed on them), and she placed them in a bag. So, that means one is on top of the other. I asked for them to be placed in a box, less sloppy. Thats it! She would'nt do it and said I had to order ONE more donut for them to use a box... Really?! All these great reviews and great customer service from ALL of us who have been coming and one box is a problem for donuts i had already paid for?! Contemplating...
