Joe's Coffee Shop — Restaurant in Irving

As we arrived at the restaurant, a friendly staff member kindly held the doors open for us. With my baby in a stroller, I truly appreciated this considerate and attentive act. A big thank you to the gentleman for going above and beyond in customer service. He welcomed us warmly, and the rest of the team mirrored his kindness. They were exceptionally accommodating, friendly, and genuinely attentive to their customers' needs.

I ordered an omelet packed with ham, sausage, and bacon. It was delicious, although a few pieces of meat were a bit tough to chew. I would give it a 4.5 out of 5. My Arnold Palmer was refreshing and delightful, earning a perfect score of 5 out of 5. One of my friend's niece ordered the strawberry French toast, which she absolutely loved. It not only looked aesthetically pleasing but also tasted amazing. My other friend's niece was pleased with her meal, but my friend mentioned her dish could have used more seasoning. I suggested that it might be because they cater to a clientele that prefers less seasoning than other places. After adding some salt, she said it tasted much better. Their prices are quite reasonable compared to other diners.

I wished I could of gave this place a 5 star review based off the lady (she's might be the owner) who greeted us as we walked in and made us laugh. We got to pick where we wanted to sit.

I was disappointed with the server that we had. She didn't seem friendly. I was expecting that service was going to be great based off of all the other reviews on here. We almost felt that she didn't want us there. For this reason... I ate one of my biscuits with gravy and she came and took the plate away before I could finish my other biscuit. I was still eating the other half of my bacon, eggs, and grits so I'm not sure why she would take my biscuits and gravy away. I should've said something but she already walked away and we just moved here so I didn't want to start anything! Very disappointed!

The breakfast was good though. I did want to bring the rest of my family here to try other food they have on the menu. However, not sure if we would like to come back because of the server! The server had glasses if this would help the owner speak to her about her service.

Just started working in Irving, right up the street from Joe's, and decided to have a business meeting here. The host greeted me immediately and found me a comfortable place to sit while I waited for my business partner. The server was super attentive but not pushy or overbearing -- kinda perfect, actually. Got great coffee -- nothing fancy, but better than ihop! -- and the server kept us topped off. Wasn't interested in getting food, but the server briefly mentioned the BOGO special on pie slices and we couldn't resist. I had a slice of cherry pie and it was great!
