This place is awesome!! First and foremost the owner is super sweet and so nice. The food is delicious and you can tell a lot of love and care goes into making it. Yes, this a little hole in the wall but do not be discouraged! They keep it clean and tidy. We ordered the grinder sandwich (Italian way with no onions) and wow the bread was so fresh and fluffy and the meat was thickly sliced. The combination fried rice was amazing, not greasy at all and he uses real, big shrimp not the frozen little shrimp. And last but not least, the wing and fries combo - the wings were crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. He was also nice enough to offer free chicken noodle soups with our entrees. I’ve never had a BAD experience here …… but today I did. I ordered the 16-inch gyro with cookies and soup. Got my order, From the first bite I knew something was wrong. Upon further inspection, I saw the issue was old meat. That had been seemly reheated or something. It was dry, tough, and unappealing to look at. Even bread was not fresh as usual nor was there much sauce present on my sandwich. I used to work in the kitchen and my motto was always to never serve anything I wouldn’t eat myself. No one in good conscience could send that out to be eaten. SAD TO SAY.. but I won’t be returning. My power is in my choice to spend where I choose. I hope Noone else has this experience. It is the best and freshest sandwich shop in Dallas County. The bread was 10x better than subway. I bought a vegetarian, Italian-style sandwich and didn’t have to pay for anything extra. They were generous with the ingredients and don’t nickel and dime you for every topping. To my surprise it came with a soup that was delicious. My kids think sandwiches are normally plain because they only like 3 ingredients and don’t care for sandwich shops but without saying a word to my son about how I enjoyed my 8” sandwich during his football game, he gobbled his down after the game and was raving about it.
