Subway — Restaurant in Irving

I would have given them a 0 star.

Terrible experience with the night manager tonight - she was arrogant, inconsiderate, dismissive and rude.

I got the Subway Club ($6.00) add bacon ($2.00) and extra cheese ($1.00).

Unfortunately, the young lady at the register had a terrible attitude with me after I pointed out that the cheese was only $1 instead of $1.50 (the register rang it up at $1.50).

She told me, "I'm not making you another sandwich because you don't want to pay $.50. We don't make the prices, or put them on the menu, the register does it, I don't care". Then she irritatedly gave me the contact number for her direct superior.

The problem I had was that the menu on the wall said one price and the register rang up another; I caught it, called it out, the store didn't like it.

What's crazy is that the manger laughed, turned to her co-worker, and said, "do you want a sandwich" all while I was still standing there.

The sandwich costs $9.00, the extra cheese she would have lost on the deal (even though I was right and she wouldn't have lost anything) was only $.50.

This was a terrible experience. Just go next door to the 7-11 to get your dinner - it's cheaper, and the people are nicer. You can easily go to the pizza spot next door.

As a employee of National Carrier (pays for employees to stay at the hotel next door), I'll be letting all of the employees know not to come to this...

We went to Subway and experienced a very rude and racist encounter. We came for you'lls "fans who buy any sub and any drink will get a free sub of equal or lesser value on the house" deal. I agreed to buy 2 subs and 2 drinks and expected to get 2 subs for free. Then the man goes back and when he comes backs says you have to buy 4 drinks which I agree to. Then when I asked for the total it came out to be a little more than $35. This makes no sense because the subs were $6.75 each and even with the 4 drinks (which I should not have to pay) the total with tax comes out to be $23.22. I asked to at least see the breakdown of the costs but he refused to do so, saying, "I will not show you anything until you pay". He said take it or leave. So I left and upon my leaving he called me crazy. I have never in my life felt more disrespected. The man was extremely rude. My mom was with me wearing a hijab (a head scarf), and I believe this man was being specifically racist to us because the person before us bought 3 subs and got 3 free and only bought 3 drinks and his total only came out to be about $30 which is less than what my total came out to be. This is the first time in my life I have felt racism and I couldn't be more...

I went to this location today because I was craving a meatball marinara sandwich. It was super clean inside and the covers were down over the meat and veggies(I like that as most locations have tons of flies). An angel came from the back who's name I later learned was Anna. I normally ask for extra sauce, which in the past has made my sandwich completely sloppy and the wrapper soggy. Anna understood the assignment, it was like she likes extra sauce also because she did it perfectly! First of all she cut the sandwich all the way through to make 2 complete halves, it was wrapped so snug and perfectly that I didn't want to open it....but when I did the sandwich ingredients were still perfectly stacked on the bread and I was actually able to hold it in my hand and bite it. Anna needs a raise immediately! All the others "sandwich artists" need to take notes from her. ...
