We stopped by the restaurant after playing badminton in the area since it was close by. The restaurant is pretty small, with only 4 tables. It's located right next to a gas station. They offer a variety of dishes, from fried chicken to burgers to Mediterranean food. You order at the register, and grab your food from there as well.
I wasn't too hungry so I got their beef shawarma fries, and my boyfriend got the biryani chicken. The portion was pretty big for both our orders, but our friend got the beef shawarma wrap and it was pathetic. The price difference was like $1 so I would recommend not getting the wraps.
I like my beef shawarma fries. It was freshly fried and had a good mix of beef pieces and sauce. The biryani chicken was okay. It doesn't look like the photo on the menu at all since they just dumped a bunch of rice on some pieces of chicken. My boyfriend didn't mind since the portion was big, and it tasted okay.
Food took about 10-15 mins to come out and there were customers coming in and out constantly. It looks like a local favorite so I might drop by again when I'm in the area for their shawarma fries, but don't expect it to be...
Read moreWasn't bad but I've had better naan and butter chicken. First I'm used to places asking what spice level I want. I don't do spice! This was my first time at this place and they didn't ask me and that fact didn't dawn on me until just before they brought me the order. I took it and went on home cause I figured well I didn't speak up about it so whatever they've given me, it's too late to protest now. Wouldn't have wanted to trouble them for a remake. Man oh man it was spicy! I was panting and so my mom took a bite. She doesn't like Indian food at all but loves spicy. She said yes that is hot, I'm surprised you're eating that. I told her im definitely forcing myself cause it cost too much to throw out. They sell each item separately. It doesn't come with Naan (+they don't sell garlic naan) or rice Something about this places food just tasted different. I can't figure it out. Maybe they're from a different region that seasons their butter chicken slightly different. I also noticed they gave me dark meat chicken not breast meat. The chicken samosa was...
Read moreThe Good: I had their Tandoori pizza a few weeks ago and it was amazing and spicy AF.
The Bad: I had their Gyro with fries. The Gyro had a F ton of shredded iceberg lettuce, once I scraped off 80% of that, it wasn't bad, but I wouldn't order it again. The fries were old. I had intended on snacking on them on the way home, but they were not edible until I put them in the air fryer for 4 minutes.
Take away: I'll go back, but I'll never order the fries or gyro. Also, if a lady answers, I'll order, if a young guy answers, I'll say, "Sorry, wrong number." I ordered there another time as well. I don't remember what I got that time, but I know it was good. I think the guy, who's young, does not care as much about the product. He also "corrected" me when I ordered the gyro and called it a Guy-row, which did not instill confidence.
Atmosphere: this is mostly a to-go place, there are a few tables, but this is not an ideal place to...
