Chinese style Buffet and Mongolian Grill (included with buffet) also includes Seafood favorites such as baked salmon and fried shrimp which both tend to be very good here. They now have sushi as well, although I have not tried it. Traditional Chinese fare ranges from good to adequate, I recommend sampling around and finding what you like. The orange chicken is usually quite good. Their "Chinese beef stew" is usually very good and uses tender cuts of beef with veggies in a mild curry broth. For desserts they have a flat-pan version of apple pie that is tasty and peach cobbler that is better than I've had in some home-style restaurants! Desserts also include: fresh fruit, soft-serve cones, cookies and cakes, of which the new bundt cake choices are especially good. Service is usually good and the overall atmosphere is relaxed and friendly. One drawback to mention for those who use chopsticks: this restaurant provides thin little chopsticks such as one might expect to find at a storefront Chinese take-out. For me, using chopsticks is part of the Oriental dining experience, so I find this a bit disappointing. To leave it on a positive note, East Buffet has excellent, well-maintained restrooms. Always a major "Plus" at any...
Read moreFirst let me start by saying, our waitress was great, she was very attentively to all her tables. No one lacked anything. Now! what I didn't like was the food, most of it was bland. The egg rolls were crispy on the outside, but mushy within. To many kids playing with the food, some parents totally ignoring the sign that says, "Do not let kids.... The men restroom was a mess, let's just say "regurgitation." Also there was a small piece of metal in my broccoli, thankfully I spotted it before I chomped down on it. I told the waitress, she did her job, by telling, the person in charge. Well! they never came to our table to apologize, the waitress gave us a free drink. But the manager never came to apologize. The waitress felt bad. I will not go back, because, I'm not a fan of bland food. However the metal piece, and the inconsiderable person in charge, really did it for me. I still enjoyed my mom, it was her day. She was upset as well. Again the waitress was great. Don't make a decision because on me, to not go. That was my experience. Yours might be different. I love supporting businesses, until they stop caring about the...
Read moreVery rude staff . Majority of the female servers lacked etiquette and professionalism , including a Middle Aged man. They grumble and complain loudly in their language when i told them I’ll preferably sit in a better area rather than the one they were offering, I mean customers have the right to sit wherever they feel more comfortable. This isnt the first time they’re grumbling and muttering Words in Chinese language right in front of me.. When she’s dropping my cup of water , she literally dumps it on the table, shrugs her shoulders and walks away. When she’s picking my plates or receipts, she snatches it like we’re fighting. Few times I’ve met her, she walks past my empty cup of water without refilling... I complained to the lady @ the counter , she was laughing because she was an accomplice. The man on shift with them did the same thing few weeks ago. And the server expects me to give her tip?I always leave her disappointed!!! But I use to tip the previous server who was always nice to me. A bunch of Jokers.. !!!
Dr. Jessica ( the black girl) so u...
