This is one of the heavenly hotel that I had the opportunity to stay in. The glorious beautiful lobby to the warm indoor pool, Jacuzzi and to boost guests experience the hotel has two saunas. This place is so clean, pristine, peacefull and to have guests feel the peacefull environment the hotel is surrounded with the soundproof glass and sealing the reason I know this because the hotel is in the "backyard of the airport" and guestswon'thear any plane flying over the hotel. This is a 4* hotel to me that is underrated. The service the staff the managers all across the board are so welcoming and professional. Mr.John who is running the place is one of the nicest people you can find in the hotel industry. He is always busy to ensure that his place is on point at all times but if you as a guest will approach him no matter how busy he is he will always have an ears to listen to you and always open to the feedback. House keeping staff that is managed by Miss.Irene amazed me, they work so professionally, I never had any concerns and if I did Miss.Irene have it taken care of it on a heart beat. Front desk staff surprised me with the delicious box of fresh cookes, ordered from Tiff's Treats that made my weekend. I love surprises specially when they are unexpected. The resturant inside the hotel named Nihari Heaven is price friendly and the food is so delicious and mouthwatering. The service at the resturant is so professional and you as a customer will feel respected and valued. Yes yes they do have a free breakfast that you can have it prepared freshly from (Bacon to Omelette) and the Omelette you don't want to miss!! Last but not the least is the bar. You can watch a game while enjoying a sip of your best made drink in the world. The staff at the bar knows and have a knowledge of what they are serving and when they make the dink with their magical hands you don't want to leave the bar to go back in your room. This hotel also have multiple ball rooms where you can host any event. How can I forget the indoor games YES you red me correctly. Indoor games!!! that just adds the totally different experience to your stay at this place. I will suggest if you are in town and want to look for a best place for your buck Wyndham DFW is and will always be your best choice. Once you become Wyndham it will always tell you welcome!! THE HOTEL DO PROVIDE SERVICE FROM AND TO THR...
Read moreMy husband and I booked a room on 8-31-24 through Expedia. We found this hotel to be a maze. They even had to provide us a map. We kept saying, maybe it will get better. As we walked what felt like a mile to our room, I noticed they had camera's everywhere. Once again, I thought, let's just see the room. Once we opened the door to our room, it felt very muggy, but I thought, it will get cooler. I then laid our child on the bed and kneeled on the floor to play with her. Well within a minute, I saw tiny bugs crawling on the bed. I immediately got our child off the bed and then asked my husband to come look. He also saw lots of bugs crawling on the bed. After this encounter, I told him we had to leave because we had, had enough. I then asked the employees at the front desk how it would work with getting a refund because we had bugs on the bed. He stated he could not refund us because it was purchased through Expedia, but could give us a different room. I said, I am sorry that will not work. We then contacted Expedia and they reported they would contact the manager at the hotel. After 3 days of Expedia trying to contact the manger at the hotel, they were still not able to get ahold of them. Expedia then gave us a small refund for how terrible Wyndham treated us. (This was Expedia refunding us... not Wyndham giving Expedia a refund). I then called Wyndham hotel 10 times one day to request to talk to a manger. The employees at the front desk would send me to Donnie's or another manager's phone, and their messaging machines were so full I couldn't even leave a message. I requested at least two different employees at the front desk to have the manager call me. They took my information, and 5 days later, we still have not received a call back from the hotel. This left a HORRIBLE impression about Wyndham DFW. POOR ROOMS, POOR SERVICE, POOR MANAGEMENT!!! We will not invest our money again in a Wyndham Hotel-specifically this one-- and we strongly encourage you to RUN and book your hotel at...
Read moreIf you like Christian allusions (and who am I kidding, this is Dallas-Fort Worth, where even the universities have the word "Christian" in them), then the Wyndham DFW Airport is purgatory. It's not torture, but it definitely feels like punishment. Among the highlights: a 45-minute wait for a 24/7 shuttle after being told it would take 20 minutes (that call placed after walking around in search of a stated meeting place that didn't exist, the mythical D1--it's actually D10); 24/7 coffee in the lobby that doesn't exist (see photo); no coffee at breakfast in the morning; an hour long wait at the hotel restaurant for an order that we were told would take 30 minutes, and when it arrived, they literally had no silverware; a skeleton crew lobby staff that was in no hurry to help any of the dozens of people arriving due to canceled flights; the ever present excuse that every problem was because of the influx of customers due to canceled flights (You are an airport hotel two miles from a giant airport that serves as a hub for the world's shittiest airline and have a certain number of rooms, which only exist to be filled with airport travelers. Be ready for them to be filled, at least once in a while, or close your doors and stop taking reservations.); Mr. Bean on the TV (I suggest you hire him to run the place). On top of everything, the decor is suffocating, the shower head was hanging off the wall, the view was depressing (though I guess this is Irving, Texas, USA); an old guy with a walker fell down some poorly marked stairs in the lobby and no staff came to help (some other customers and I helped him up; he seemed only slightly injured and, unfortunately, probably too proud to sue). TLDR: avoid this place if you can, but you probably can't, so be prepared to fight them for every little thing you expect to get when you book a hotel...
