Tasty Fusion — Restaurant in Irving

I really hate to do this as I rarely leave bad reviews but hopefully this review can help to improve the quality of this establishment. Saw that they were rated pretty high on DoorDash so I ordered butter chicken biriyani, Indo-Chinese chow mein and samosas to try this place out instead of our regular go to Indian take out. Visually all the food looked unappealing, even prior to taste. Biriyani was bland and flavorless. Chow mein was pretty much inedible; chicken was dry and noodles overcooked to mush. Samosa tasted like taking a bite out of a bland yet extremely salty fried dough made out of flour and sand. Maybe it was an off day but I seriously would not recommend this place as there are plenty of other better choices in Indian fare around the area. Me and my husband go there frequently, we always usually go in and eat momo and the momo achar is my favorite part and the only reason we actually go for the momo but when we order (to go) they put water in it we specifically asked over the phone for the momo achar not jhol and they still watered it all down. I saw the sauce and asked can I get that momo achar and they just lied and said they changed there sauce because they didn’t want to give me the momo achar and embarrassed me. So this used to be known as Hot n spicy and my experience there was the same as today! Phenomenal!! Every dish was wow, if you enjoy South Asian/North Indian foods, you'll love this restaurant. From the momos to the indo-chinese to the chai everything is 10/10. My only recommendation is to eat it fresh!! Nothing beats when they bring it out piping hot! Everything is cooked fresh and the food came out quickly. They give good portions so the value is great! It's also HALAL!!!
