Butcher's Block BBQ — Restaurant in Irwindale

Been craving some good ribs lately unless I want to go to famous Dave's in rancho which is kind of a drive I wanted something local and wanted to see if it was worth it so I put in a mobile order and the customer service was great friendly and efficient except for the part where a server had a massive PINK-EYE infection in both eyes and the price it was good off the bat compared to other places, the sides were 50/50 their cole slaw was good they're Mac and cheese bland as fak! Now the main thing the ribs had a good rub weren't burnt however there was NO SAUCE! I mean for a bbq ribs you'd think they're be some bbq sauce so for that I couldn't give a accurate taste comment. for the ribs giving this establishment two stars for the error they made which is a simple fix and give their Mac and cheese more taste giving them an opportunity to improve...

I arrived last Friday at 5 pm, and it says they're open till 6 pm. While pulling up to the parking lot, they locked the door, and they could see through the glass door that someone is getting ready to get in, but it still didn't matter. By the time I got out of my car and got to the door, I noticed they were shutting down lights, and the guy inside seemed to be in a hurry and pretended he didn't see me. Really bad behavior and very unwelcoming. He should've stopped and explained to me that they were closing early for whatever reason, and I would've understood and...

Wow. This place is great.

Family owned, authentic, great quality, great price. What more could you ask for.

The staff is super welcoming and friendly. You can tell they care about their guests.

The meat was juicy and tender with a lot of flavor. The portions were generous. House BBQ sauce was delicious. The beans had a bit of a kick to them, but hit the spot and the onion string complemented the meal well. Better bbq than most of the places i have tried in the south.

Atmosphere reminded me of bbq joints...
