My experience here was pretty bad. We had never eaten here before but saw that on Sunday shrimp taco's were only $1.99. We ordered our food along with one large drink, the girl at the register repeated our order back which included the drink but failed to give us our drink. When we asked for the drink she replied with "oh I didn't charge you for the drink, do you want to order it again?" We declined and proceeded to sit and review our receipt because it felt too pricey for what we ordered. We then realized we were charged full price for the shrimp tacos. We asked the girl at the register about it, she apologized then began to refund our money to our card. That's when someone said it's only breaded shrimp that's $1.99 not grilled. At that point we had to be recharged for the entire meal again. Nowhere on any menu does it indicate that only breaded shrimp is $1.99. Once we got home with our food we were pleased with the tacos but the guacamole is basically mush. No tomatoes or onions. $5.00 for mush. To top it all off as my husband is eating, he bites on something hard. Pulls it out to discover something that looks like a staple. An actual metal staple. Then he pulls one more out. We will NEVER return to...

Edit: my last review was 4 years ago - 5 stars and now 7/2022 - 3 stars 😣 Things have drastically changed since then!
No more salsa/condiment station, they pack everything for you. Very stingy!!! 1 pepper per person kind of a deal. Food has gotten so expensive ofc after they remodeled the place 🙄
Apparently they don't carry sopes anymore, which was one of their best items!!
They switched from a white tortilla to a brown tortilla on their tacos 🤷♀️
Just checked today and their daily specials are gone, possibly due to COVID uptick in prices?
Lastly we used to have them cater all of our parties, we would order their large and small charrolas of carne asada/al pastor and the large was about the size of a chafing dish and the small was half that size. Large used to be like $80-90 and about half the price for the small. We had to stop using them because they only offer the small charrolas now and the small is like $90-110 last I checked 🤣.
Bufadora you are getting too expensive but you are worth it on occasion as the quality of food is...
Read moreA few years ago, this restaurant would have been on of my top 5 or 6 places to go and eat within the area. But times change. Today I had the misfortune of eating my last meal from this restaurant. My family and ordered a shrimp cocktail, some fish tacos, and a few tortas to go. The fish tacos we received can be described as a small battered fishstick with nothing on top. We received no cabbage, sauce, or lemon with our food. They were as plain as the day they came out of the freezer. Next was the torta which was so burned that we threw the bread out and just ate the deli thin ham and chunks of carne asada on the sad excuse of a sandwich. Lastly, the shrimp cocktail tasted as it had mixed last week's shrimp with this weeks. There were shrimp that had an obvious old fishy taste and some that tasted fresh mixed together. As someone who has come to this restaurant since 2006, this review hurts. I will not be back...
