Tasty Delight — Restaurant in Irwindale

Cashier girl had a really bad attitude when we ordered food. Very impatient as we were asking questions about the menu. We asked if they had small orders, and she just raised her voice and said no, that it was only side orders for combo meals. We then said that we may order the vegetable chowmein but we weren't sure, but then we finally decided that we wanted one beef chowmein order for my little brother. She rolled my eyes at my mom and said that she already put the order in the kitchen and screamed at the kitchen to cancel the order and make a beef one instead. This made my mom feel awful and uncomfortable, but the man in the kitchen came out with a big smile and reassured my mom that he'll make the chowmein nice and fresh. This was the only reason why my mom even considered waiting and paying for the meal. When it was done, the same man came out with a big smile and gave us the order and was very detailed on the condiments he was giving us. The service was overall bad, and I don't know if the girl was just impatient because English isnt my mom's first language, but it's good enough to make a small order. The service and experience Is a one star, as my mom didn't need to be screamed at or given an attitude for making an order and asking questions. The man from the kitchen was kind and the food is good so I would give him 4 or 5 star. But sadly, the bad experience outweighed the good in this situation. So disgusting must read!! So after placing a Phone order for two teriyaki plates after coming home I started to eat our food I noticed that there was some sort of Maggot or worm inside my broccoli food did not taste good and Rice was horrible I called the lady back and she said she did not know English highly recommend not eating here..That bug could’ve had something serious unbelievable that I could’ve ate something like that coming from a restaurant so unless you want to get sick or a very nasty food I highly recommend you not to come here... clearly they don’t wash their food or check it before coming in I have never had a restaurant serves food with bugs I hope they don’t do this to anybody else wish I had the health department number who knows what’s going on behind the counter especially when they say they don’t...

I recently dined at Tasty Delight and had a fantastic experience! The service was exceptional from start to finish; the staff was friendly, attentive, and eager to ensure we had everything we needed.
