Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Irwindale

Staff was impolite. As someone who doesn’t go to Jimmy Johns they did not lead me through the ordering process, gave me a sandwich with just meat. Did not label each sandwich so I had to open each one to see what was inside. When I went back in, it was clear that the staff thought I was ridiculous. They wouldn’t take back the sandwich without any tomatoes or lettuce on it and laughed when I asked them to throw it away. Gave them a dollar tip prior to them making the sandwich and, for two sandwiches it was $36. Total came to $38. Would not have tipped if I had known what kind of service they were providing. Currently sitting in the parking lot writing this review. Date 11/13/2023 at 1:40pm. Was also previously advised against coming here.

As for the sandwich, it’s mid. Light on meat and at $16 a pop…. Not worth it in the slightest.

Straight up ridiculous. Arrived about a quarter to 7pm and as I try to open the door, I realize it's locked even though it says that they close at 9pm. The attempt causes a loud rattle which gets the workers (3 dudes) attention but they just look up at me and continue with whatever nonsense they have going on in the kitchen with no explanation. So I just jet my way across to Farmer Boys instead to have a hefty meal. As I'm about to leave, I'm walking to my car (which is parked right in front of Jimmy John's) and notice another potential customer nodding his head in disappoinment after trying to get into the restaurant. Someone, specifically the manager, needs to check these guys for negligence. I've never tried Jimmy John's before so I was somewhat excited to see what they had to offer but now it's safe to say that I definitely won't be coming...

Drove to this location and one employee is outside putting out rugs and taking down the table umbrellas. The other employee is inside sweeping. The employee takes the umbrella inside the restaurant and sees me walking in so he goes directly to the register. The employee sweeping sees me and puts the broom down. The one sweeping grabbed gloves without washing his hands, im sure he'sthe one that will be preparingthe sandwich. I didn't say a word after I saw how unsanitary they both were . Instead I walked out and im going to a restaurant where I can see the employees follow health rules. Every chance I get I will share this story because I think this is just one of the simplest and basic food handling processes that any restaurant employee...
