I can’t say enough great things about Hippie Mango. First I’ll start by saying this place was so good, we went back the next morning again because we couldn’t stop talking about it. The view of the ocean and the breeze on the back patio is amazing. For drinks we tried the coco latte and the hibiscus infusion the first time. The second time we had the playera infusion and the surfed out batido. I loved the juices and my husband couldn’t stop talking about the surfed out batido because he loved it so much. For food the first time we split the El Set with eggs and had a side of pancakes. This was the perfect portion size for us to split and not feel too full. This spot is one of the few restaurants across the coast that not only provides an amazing view, but also a great experience. They greet you warmly, they make you feel so welcomed, and that view takes your breath away, there tends to be some wind outside which works out perfectly with this heat.

About the food, we went there 3 times already and tried so many different options. I'm a big fan of the pistachio/Coco smoothie, pure glory. We tried their fruit bowls, toast with egg, the scrambled eggs w/veggies and the potatoes, even the chai, and it was just fantastic. What I also loved, is that they might adapt the menu to what's freshly available, don't get bummed out, it's actually a good thing, so put your positive glasses on :)

Uno de las peores experiencias de servicio que ha tenido en mi vida. Aprendimos bien - no puedes creer todo lo que lees en linea! Mi esposa y yo habíamos estado buscando por todas partes un buen lugar para comer, lo cual fue un poco difícil porque somos veganos.. Después de leer las reseñas de este lugar, pensamos que seguramente sería increíble.

Nuestra mesera parecía agradable y estaba feliz de tomar nuestro pedido rápidamente. La vista es absolutamente espectacular, así que nos sentamos felices mirando la playa impecable mientras esperábamos nuestra comida. Pedimos un plato de tofu revuelto después de café y jugo, y fue entonces cuando las cosas empezaron a ir mal..

Tuvimos que recordarle a la mesera nuestro pedido varias veces, ¡durante las cuales vimos al personal sentarse y comer su propia comida de la misma cocina mientras dejarnos esperando por demasiado tiempo! Primero nos dijo que si queríamos el tofu, tendríamos que esperar hasta que la cocina terminara de cocinar un lote nuevo porque no tenían. En su lugar nos ofreció champiñones salteados, a lo que dijimos que si estaría bien.

Se olvidó de que nos conformamos con champiñones. Seguimos preguntando por la comida porque teníamos tanta hambre que compramos botanas en el minimercado de al lado mientras esperábamos. Esperamos casi mas de 90 minutos por lo que terminó siendo un plato muy decepcionante y carísimo.

Cuando mi esposa expresó sus preocupaciones, el personal "amable" inmediatamente se volvió contra nosotros, haciéndonos luz de gas y actuando como si todo estuviera bien. No nos creyeron que tardaron tanto aunque tengo un reloj que funciona y respondieron sarcásticamente y pasivo-agresivamente que hacían la comida “con mucho amor”. Bueno, desearía mas que nada que todos pudiéramos alimentarnos de puro amor, pero esa no es la realidad de nuestro universo. Se ganaron el “hippie” en su nombre con ese comentario tan irrespetuoso. Ni comíamos el plato porque nos sentíamos tan mal después de la interacción.

Aunque nos miró las caras de pendejos, mi familia en ese momento había estado esperando tanto tiempo para que nos encontráramos con ellos en la playa. Simplemente pagué e incluso dejé una propina del 20% aunque no lo merecieran porque soy un hombre de palabra, a diferencia de estas personas. Lo recomiendo mucho buscar otros lugares en Isabela con gente respetuosa. 0 estrellas si pudiera...
