Mi Casita Tropical — Restaurant in Isabela

The view is absolutely beautiful, especially from the deck, which is the highlight of the experience. However, the service could use some improvement. While our waitress was kind and attentive, some basic details were missed, like checking if we needed cutlery, napkins, or drink refills, even though the restaurant was completely empty.

The food took over 45 minutes to arrive, and everything was served at once, which didn’t allow time to enjoy the appetizers before the main dish. We ordered sorullos, masitas de dorado, and skirt steak nachos. The sorullos and masitas were just okay, but the nachos were disappointing. The sauce tasted like heavy cream with a little garlic and butter over store-bought chips, topped with skirt steak. The steak was well-seasoned, but the rest of the dish didn’t come together.

Our food was served freshly prepared by Chef Cris, super delicious and not overly salty nor seasoned. It comes straight from the stove to your table. Super friendly service by Desty and manager Johnny.

The restaurant presents a wonderful view of the Atlantic, perfect opportunity to capture awesome pics. The menu provides you a wide choice of local cuisine and taste.
