am leaving a 1-star review solely due to the unacceptable conditions of the dining environment. My family and I dined in and spent nearly $1,000 on our meal, yet the restaurant did not have functioning air conditioning. The atmosphere was unbearably hot—especially in Florida—which made the experience miserable.
Worse, your staff were visibly sweating while serving food, and the floors were dangerously slippery, presumably due to condensation. This is a serious safety hazard. When I politely asked our server if the door near us could be closed, he had to get the manager—who then stated that they were unable to ask the neighboring table to do so. That response was completely inadequate given the circumstances. Even the bartender appeared visibly frustrated by the heat. I also ran into another female server in the lady’s room sipping sweat off of her neck and chest.
It’s shocking that a Marriott corporate property would allow its staff to work in such poor conditions. This level of disregard for both employee welfare and guest comfort is entirely unacceptable.
That said, I do want to acknowledge the exceptional service we received from our server, Rashi, and the bartender (I believe her name may be Sabbie). She is truly outstanding—one of the best bartenders I’ve ever encountered. Her cocktails were perfectly crafted, and her knowledge of mixology and flavor pairings was impressive. The old fashioneds and chai espresso martini were particularly remarkable.
In short, while the staff was commendable, the working conditions were not. This is something that needs to be addressed...
Read moreMy husband and I ate at Kindler while we were staying at Three Waters. Everything about Kindler was outstanding. The best part was our server, Sandra, who provided ideal recommendations and spot-on service for the entire evening. We started with Monkey Bread which was great (...if you're expecting the commonly known cinnamon/butter/biscuit variety, its nothing like that.) The flavor profile is a savory/sweet, and the texture is more dense than i expected, but still great! Sandra also recommended the grouper, which was perfect. We also had interesting side dishes (potatoes brava and grilled asparagus, which is easy to overlooked, but this was perfect. We appreciated that the chef visited our table more than once to check on us and answer questions. The menu is full of surprises (thanks, Chef!) and the kitchen works hard to put out first rate "foodie" food. The wine list has something for everyone taste, too. From start to finish, our dinner was wonderful! Highly recommend Kindler if you want a fine dining experience...
Read moreThis is the newest restaurant at Three Waters (old Post Card Inn and before that Holiday Isle). Yes the Tiki Bar is still there with a new vibe. Kindler Wood-Fired is VERY cool. It used to be a Shula steakhouse, then Caio Hound, but the steaks are back and excellent! We sat on the patio with pets. Alex, our server was fantastic and guided our menu choices well. Steak tartare was some of the best I’ve ever had-and I’m a bit of a connoisseur about that dish having sampled it in places like St. Tropez and Montreal, Canada. What kind of steak did we have last night? The hanger steak med-rare and it was superb. Bok choy side. The Béarnaise sauce actually tasted like it’s supposed to with a hint of lemon and buttery. We even dipped the veggies in it! Alex tried to talk us into the butter cake dessert of sorts but we opted for drinks at the Tiki Bar. Next time! Everything looked amazing. Can’t wait to go back. Ask to see the catering room and wine cellar and the private party...
