Jeff's Bagel Run — Restaurant in Isle of Palms

I love Jeff’s! Delicious bagels and coffee! I’ve been to both this location and the Clements Ferry one multiple times. However, this location has been disappointing. There really needs to be a separate line/area for online orders and people who order in the store. I placed an online order at around 8:55 am on our way to the beach. I walked in at around 9:10 am and my full order was not ready yet. I understand it was very busy, but the workers didn’t really acknowledge me when I was clearly waiting for an order I placed awhile ago. I didn’t get my two coffees and two bagels until about 9:30 which was almost 40 minutes after I placed a mobile order and I think they forgot about one coffee I ordered initially. I had people get their orders before me who ordered inside less than 10 minutes ago. There were also a ton of people who ordered inside crowded around the pick up area so I felt awkward cutting everyone to try and get my online order. Cool concept, poor execution. We stopped here while on vacation on our way to the aquarium in Charleston. We were intrigued by the fact that they had a drive thru, but it took 15 minutes to get our bagels and cream cheese on a Tuesday morning. We then drove off not realizing that our two bagels that cost just over $10 didn’t even come with the cream cheese on them which was super not convenient considering we were eating on the go in the car hence why we needed a drive thru.

For just over $10, we found the fact that they didn’t prepare the bagel sandwich to be insane. They don’t toast bagels, nor do they prepare them with cream cheese spread so I’m not really sure why it took so long. It really took away the convenience factor. Not to mention, you can get an entire bakers dozen at Panera...

There are myriad bagel options in the Charleston metro, but Jeff’s Bagel Run on IOP is hands down the coolest, cleanest, friendliest and welcoming bagel shop in town. General manager Cheyenne is a true gem and she always goes above and beyond to ensure a satisfactory experience. Alyssa the baker makes the best bagels around-they look great, taste great, and she makes them with love. All of their items are made from scratch by a lovely salt of the earth woman named Michelle. Barista Soren is worldly and friendly and tandem Eli and Austin work hard up front and always deliver top flight service. You feel like part of a family when you’re here and I insist you take the time to head to the IOP for the best bagel experience...
