DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE
I ordered a couple of pizzas online for delivery, but when the Domino's Tracker showed the pizzas as delivered and the order complete, I still hadn't received anything.
I called the store to double-check. When someone answered with, “How can I help you?” I started explaining that I’d placed an order online, but he abruptly put me on hold without any notice. When he came back, he asked me to continue. I explained that the tracker indicated the order was delivered, but I hadn’t received the pizzas and wanted to check the status. He said he would transfer me to his manager.
The manager got on the line and asked how he could assist me, but as I began explaining, he cut me off mid-sentence and demanded my address in a somewhat rude manner. I paused for a moment, brushed off the attitude, and gave him my address. He then informed me, with a hint of irritation, that his system showed the driver was still out making three other deliveries. I told him that was good to know since the tracker indicated it was already delivered, and I was just double-checking. His only response was a quick, dismissive “Mmhmm.” I thanked him, and he replied with another curt “Mmhmm.”
After 1 hour and 45 minutes, I called back stating I have not received my order he said the driver said he dropped off the pizza. I informed him I have a Google Video Doorbell and I looked at the footage and no one came up to my house. He verified the address which was correct. He said again the driver dropped off the pizzas and that he came back with no pizzas left over. He said he can only refund the money, which does nothing for my kids since they’ve been waiting for pizza. He said there was nothing they could do.
I understand it's a busy Friday night, but that kind of attitude was completely unnecessary. I wasn’t upset or rude—I was simply checking to see if my order was still on its way since the tracker said it had already been delivered. It felt like they thought I was wasting their time, but I don’t think it’s unreasonable to check on an order when the tracker shows it's been delivered but nothing has arrived.
The driver clearly dropped my pizza off to another customer. Instead of apologizing and offering to send me the pizzas he said all he could do was refund the money. Pure trash for a store. Never ordering...
Read moreI only choose 1-star to type the detailed experience. I made an online order. The time frame specifically stated it would be within 57-67 minutes for delivery. I received a phone call shortly after my order was placed and credit card charged online. I was told that the delivery tIme was going to be two hours. I was also offered a 2-liter soda .I explained I don't drink soda and that was not satisfactory compensation for a two hour delivery wait notification after my credit card has been charged and was I initially given a different delivery time frame. I was put on hold and some one else got on the phone with a rude demeanor giving a similar explanation with no courteous gesture for the inconvenience. I asked was she a supervisor and her name. She refused to give her name saying that she is not the Manger for that location so she doesn't have to give her name or the name of her supervisor. She was extremely bold and nonchalant with the level of rudeness. Totally disgusting. She also took time to explain she was sick as well. Well we placed our first order last Thursday and the kiddos were excited to check out the "tracker" that is until it showed that it had arrived and it HADN'T! Went outside to see if maybe they couldn't locate us. We waited for about a good 15 mins before we decided to call to see what was going on. I was put on hold and then told it must have been a glitch. Driver arrived about 15 mins later. The lady on the other end apologized and gave us two free pizzas on our next order. Well today I called in to get the two free pizzas and the woman on the other end must not have been having a good day. I told her about my last situation and that I was told I had two free pizzas, her response "Okay, I don't understand what it is you want to order.."
